Pad is a good size and soft. Knocking off one star due to the instructions indicating that that "1" is the high setting and "6" is low despite it seeming to be the reverse. Even the remote is unclear with a bar chart showing a set of lines increasing in size as you go from top to bottom. Having "high" next to the smallest bar and "low" next to the biggest one doesn't make sense. It seems that despite all instructions, only the bars are a good indicator of what is hotter/cooler

With severe debilitating arthritis, I wear out heating pads. I have found this one better than others I have used. There are 5 heating levels instead of the usual 3, and a wider range of operating times running 30/60/90/120 minutes. Most I have used only give two, 15/30 at best. The cover is soft and the device is thin yet decently padded and fixed in place. It doesn't shift around and you don't feel like you're resting on a bunch of wires.The only gripe I have is likely just a matter of personal preference. The wires for the control enter and exit the same end (bottom) and to me that makes it hang a little awkwardly (to me anyway).One more thing might be that the on/off switch moves back & forth. If the thing is allowed to shut off on it's own, you have to move the switch to 'off' position then thumbing it back to the 'on' position again. It just seems to me that a simple up/down in place type push button would be more convenient. Neither of these things are really "problems" and certainly not worth dropping the rating count about, considering the plus factors to me. I will likely buy one or more of these again while they are available. Too often I have bought and enjoyed items that, when the time came to replace them, the exact thing was no longer available- no longer carried or "improved."

My dogs are 6 months old and chewed right through the chew resistant portion. They are a terrier and lab mix so it’s not like they are huge powerful breed. It did work good before that, on a couple 10 and 15 degree days it kept their dog house and 50-55 when it was set at 65. That was also without a dog door and no insulation.

This is a great heating pad! It is really soft and nice looking. I bought it for my back pain, which has been getting worse lately. As soon as I received this heating pad, I took it out of the box and plugged it up. It heated up really fast and felt amazing on my sore back!This heating pad has great features that my last one didn’t have. It has a remote with automatic shut off, a long heavy duty cord, and the ability to remove the cord and wash the pad.The remote is well built and easy to use. It has 6 levels to choose for heat and a 30 minute up to 120 minute timer for automatic shut off. The LED lights help you to easily see what setting it is on.I am already loving this heating pad and will definitely be buying a few for Christmas presents.

I use this heating pad for myself to stay warm while I’m working or sitting around the house on cold days and nights. The pad is easy to use and no set up is required. Even my cat and dog love the pad too. Cat loves to have the pad on top of him, while the dog likes the pad underneath him. The heat is not too hot to burn, but provides enough heat to be comfortable and warm. The pad is as soft as can be and weightless. Using the pad is a great way to stay warm and to leave on areas of pain like mild stomach ache. I’ve been using the pad every day since it’s been so cold these days, and am really loving the warmth and softness. The remote has 6 levels of warmth and timer can be set in increments of 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes.

I am really bummed about my heating pad. It only lasted me 5.5mo! My mom has had a heating pad for several years with no problems. I never washed it even though it says you can, I always kept it flat so it would not get a kink in the heating elements. I used it for less than the 5-6 months I owned it for. I loved how soft it is and how quickly it would heat up,, but the other night, I turned it on and the lights on the remote were flashing and it wouldn’t heat. I thought it possibly lost its connection so I unplugged and replugged all connections, but no such luck. The lights still flash and the heating pad has become, just a soft pad. I’m disappointed, I liked it while it lasted.

It has six different heat levels and four different timer settings. It folds and rolls for neck and lower back pain and is extremely light weight. It is velvety to the touch on both sides and long enough to wrap around my bad knee very comfortably! The cord is a decent length and not heavy . I have really liked wrapping it around my foot which was terribly damaged in a car accident the relief it provides is unmatched . It is easily cleaned and the remote is not too big and is easy to handle . Great purchase would definitely recommend and purchase again.

The control unit is sturdy and durable, with 6 different heat settings. With temperatures ranging from 104° to 140° it helps soothe aching muscles to easing the pain from arthritis in my knees and hips. The timer settings allow me to enjoy the sootheing heat anywhere from 30 minutes to 120 minutes.
