I run a home dog boarding / daycare business. I have bought many of these bones over the last 4-5 years. They are excellent bones for the crate as I know that no dog in my care will be able to chunk pieces of this off to choke or cause digestive upset. They hold up to the toughest chewers. I have found that the circular design will make many dog’s lips & gums bleed when they try to chew it in its original round shape. We now cut them in half with a circular saw so the dogs are able to get their mouth around it when they chew and there has been no more bleeding this way. They can withstand quite a bit of chewing before they get small enough to where they should be thrown away. One hilarious downside is that occasionally when I see this lumpy brown bone laying on the ground I panic. I think one of the dogs pooped on the floor and I need to go clean it up. 😂 I think the price of this item is excellent for the longterm durability of the item. It is a staple for me with my personal dogs and boarded dogs.

I have a two year old lab at home who seems to destroy anything she can sink her teeth into. I purchased this for her and it has been amazing. She loves chewing on this and has been leaving everything else alone. She has had this for over six months and it is still holding up strong. It did get a little sharp/rough from her chewing, so when she decides to share it with me, it will sometimes scratch me a little.

Okay, I know that I reviewed the Edible Nylabones (by the way, they are fantastic too!) The Non Edible Chews that Nylabone have are very safe and last forever. . . It says on the packaging that they are flavored but there is no smell. . . I can’t say enough about this product in the Nylabone Family because they have built this line for aggressive chewing furry friends and they are heaven sent for teething pups! I even rinse them under water and put them in the freezer in the summer so that they can have something to perhaps cool them off a little. I’m also impressed to see that Nylabone has consistently been a serious company about their outstanding products made for our furry friends to actually love and enjoy. . . . I don’t know this for a fact, but I would like to think that the Nylabone company has furry friends wandering all over their company with their own and consulting with them. And, perhaps the secret ingredient to get their products perfect before they put on the shelves for us makes their products magical! . . . Bottom Line: Know what your pups chewing habits are and check out all that Nylabone has to offer and I believe that you will find one that fits their chewing style. . . Oh, AND You will have given them one of their most beloved and valuable chew toy 🦴mxo

My dog prefers benebones but these come in second if we’re out.

Our one and a half year old Westie is still chewing on this- he loves it!!!! Our breeder reccomended it when he was a puppy and said it is indestructible and the only hard chew toy she uses. I was nervous about any of these hard chews and him ingesting some of it. He's a super agreesive chewer and it has been fine. We have two- one is saved for travel. The home one is getting pretty scruffy looking so just ordered a new one.

These are tough but strong chewers can still chew them. They have not been able to destroy them...yet. We do have to check them frequently for sharp edges which can happen so the dog does not hurt their mouth. Overall they are fine but like all other toys they will not last.Very hard nylon material. Heavy toy designed for larger dogs and strong chewers.
