Absolutely spot on. Got this sun shade sail to go across from the back of our house to the summerhouse. It helps stop the rain from wetting the ground from the house to the summerhouse too as it seems to be waterproof and the rain just runs off, also where the fabric joins are across the middle they have used taped seams to make them waterproof. Main thing to get right with these sails is to get them very tight with the fixing points which helps stop sag in the middle and stops rain water gathering. Also make a big enough slope from one side to the other to help the rain run off more consistently. I bought some extra heavy duty zip ties which helped massively pull the sail very tight to all fixing points, then tied them with the rope supplied as well. It definitely won't come down in a hurry that's for sure.

Came well packaged with clear instructions. Seems really nice quality and the colour is bright. I wish I had chosen a different colour because the midges love it. Sprayed it with some peppermint which seemed to do the trick. I used my hose pipe to test if it was waterproof, and it passed the test. I made it extremely tight, and even though the string seemed to hold it well, I decided to staple gun it too around the edges. Voids my warranty and I can no longer return it, but for the price I don't care. Even if it lasts just one summer, I think its worth it. The sun light that comes through changes to a lovely shade of orange. Made me feel as though I was on holiday. Protected my kids from the sun and allowed us all to sit outside on a hot day comfortably. Will also work as a bird poo shield to stop those pesky pigeons pooping all over my garden furniture.

Very nice, strong sail. There were no fixings with it, unfortunately, but I used previous ones. Looks great and brightens up the garden area.

I have no complaints, this looks great, provides great shade from the sun and keeps light rain showers at bay. This has been excellent during these uncertain times of lockdown - now that we are able to have family and friends visit in our garden this has been a great shade from the sun and from showers meaning we can still sit outside in light rain. The size is perfect for our patio and was very quick to install. We take it down each evening and don’t put up if it is very windy. This is great value for money and I am very pleased with it.

I've been looking at these for a while, both the triangle sails and the rectangle ones and decided to give it go. After using a standard fixing kit found elsewhere on Amazon I had this up in about 15 minutes as it was going up under a pergola. The sail itself looks great, seems to be made out of good strong material and the seams are all strong and double stitched. We have had a lot of rain recently and this stood up well to both rain and wind. Although be warned after a lot of rain they do fill (mine is at about a 20-degree angle) but freeing one corner empties it quite dramatically! The sail was very waterproof, but I did find it dripped a little through the seam when it was full of water, but for normal rainfall, this will keep you dry. Overall, it was a great purchase, with good customer service, I will be buying more colours for different parts of the garden.

I have one of these 2 years in a different colour and size. Ordered a smaller green version last week to be sent one that was a return that's marked up, full of sand, missing the guy ropes & no Ankuka paperwork. Amazon dealt with it really well & refunded straight away. All in all they are good awnings, they work well blocking the sun, not really waterproof, & not so bad installing if all bits are at hand like guy ropes! Just a shame how things worked out this time.

Top Qualität, hält super, ist wasserdicht und stabil

Ce voile d'ombrage m'a permise de faire une réception dans mon jardin en plein été. Il faut seulement s'assurer de savoir où l'attacher. J'ai utilisé des fils à linge et ça a bien tenu. Il donne de l'ombre mais peut également protéger de la pluie. Beaucoup plus efficace qu'un parasol une fois qu'il est attaché.
