works great
Love the push pull design and ability to configure so onside only opens when push. Metal is hefty solid. The key will be how well the latch part holds up to 30-50 times a day usage on our busy household. The finish had some burrs as in picture. This was on both handles even though they seemed packed in plastic in box ok, so not sure a factory issue or shipping. Because of its design it has a few more steps to install but instructions are great. It has plastic pins to pull out to activate once installed so not clear to me if I have to say replace latch and remove handle how difficult that will be. Came with two latches depending on door depth. Latches looked heavy duty. I like the lifetime warranty so that makes it worth the higher cost—assuming Yale will honor and not nickel and dime me. Satin nickel Yale goes well with Silver Eufy230 lock.

Love it, well designed and engineered
This works so smoothly and silently and conveniently. I put it on my patio door so I can go out to the grill with full hands and I am just thrilled with it.It doesn't seem to be at risk of damage from people trying to turn it. It just opens when they touch it so they get surprised and no one accidentally man-handles it. All of our visitors agree how clever it is and how perfect it is for the door we put it on.This could either be really good for pets and kids, or very problematic, depending on your goal.I love this design, and I'm very happy with this particular one.

Works Great, as expected, push in or pull!!!
Very sturdy product, installed on entry door from garage to house, pushing or pulling works great, not much effort for pushing, I can hole a heavy box item and punch it with my elbow and open door. Very sturdy and seems very long lasting sturdiness.'

Nice handle; some issues with parts and packaging
This is a nicely designed push-pull handle which attractively complements our Yale smart bolt on a door between our kitchen and garage. Its components are strong and heavy, and the instructions are very well done.Yale does have some issues with its packaging and shipping, however. Our first order arrived with the thin corrugated cardboard box exploded within the Amazon envelope and both satin nickel paddles were heavily gouged. Amazon quickly sent a replacement. With the second delivery, the wood screws provided for the latch did fit the larger backset but were too small for the holes in the smaller backset, requiring us to find our own substitutes. Also, a tiny hex bolt needed to attach the paddles was missing from one of them, eventually turning up under one of the flaps of the cardboard box. Once the replacement screws were acquired and the small hex bolt was found, however, assembly was straight forward and relatively fast.

Makes life easier believe it or not
I used to struggle going in and out of the door to the backyard while carrying stuff in both hands and now I can just bump the handle with my hip. It has a nice finish that matches the deadbolt and was pretty easy to install.

This handle is a disaster. Don't buy it.
I hate writing reviews like this, especially for a company that I've had great experiences with in the past (i.e. I love my Yale smart deadbolt). However, this product is an absolute dumpster fire. I'm not sure if they changed the design or had a quality control issue, because I bought it based on the strong reviews I found here on Amazon. Here's the deal:I purchase this at the beginning of July and installed it the same day I received it. The hardware and screws used to place the covers don't fit correctly and the screws sent are too large for the holes drilled in the covers. So basically I had one cover that kept popping off and rattling everytime I opened and closed the door. That was if I could EVEN open or close the door. Each time I'd either pull or push on the opening mechanism about 75% of the time it would stick open so that when I shut the door it would never latch unless I physically "jiggled" the handle to get it to close.I'm a fairly "handy" person and have replaced many door handle sets over the year, so it wasn't user error. I followed the directions, and eve went online to watch videos to make sure I didn't completely miss a step or something. Nope, didn't miss anything. So I figured, well Yale is a great company, maybe I just got a bad one. I sent for a replacement from Amazon and uninstalled the old handle and installed the new now. SAME issues, but it different spots where holes were drilled too small or screws were sized to big. The handle didn't stick as badly, right away this time, but after about 2.5 weeks of use it start to stick open again. Finally said, "enough is enough" and initiated the return process today (with only a couple days to spare). I REALLY wanted to love this product. I think it's a great idea, especially for use on my garage/mud room door for when we're bringing in groceries with full hands. The idea was we could just bump into the handle and open the door without putting the bags of groceries down. Not sure if the initial product was great and then quality went downhill or what happened. Really frustrating. Guess I'll need to switch to a completely different style and brand.I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Maybe you'll get a good one, but I went through two of them without any luck.

I LOVE being able to open the garage door without my hands!
Are you ever carrying groceries in from the car, and have to put them down to open the garage door? Me too--but not any more! Installed this and now a hip bump gets me in. So convenient. My wife doesn't like the "look" but I think that 90% of that is that our garage door is *hammered* (by previous owner). Once I get around to touching up the door, I think even she will be forced to reevaluate. Having said that, I think it looks great--certainly WAAAY better than the boring round knob that was there before.Installation was a breeze, and the mechanism is smooth. I like how there are evidently options to turn either/both sides into push only or pull only, and it's true that one would never push the lever to open my door from the inside, but it doesn't hurt anything either. Anyway, loving it so far!
