Got 2 of these for the price of 1 attwood bulb that I was replacing after only 1 year of use old bulb would not prime. Replaced with new bulb and it works great will just have to see how it lasts.

Loved this item when I first got it. Great price it worked as it should but I'm less than 8 months they are leaking and cracked. ( These were protected and not exposed to the elements) also I ran 100% gas no ethanol

15 months after purchase and installation the rubber is seriously cracking from apparent dry rot. My boat is always stored indoors. It sees daylight only when I'm out on the lake, maybe 30-40 days per year. The price is good and it works great but keep in mind that it will need to be replaced every couple years, maybe more if left outdoors. I bought these to replace the bulb that was original to motor (11 years old). I've been to Academy, Bass Pro and scoured the internet and all the bulbs I have found regardless of price are listed as manufactured in Taiwan, so I'm skeptical that more durable products are even manufactured any longer.

Works OK, but the spiral wire is not tight enough to keep the bulb ok when I tried to pull it of the hose.
