The Class Election from the Black Lagoon (Black Lagoon Adventures, No. 3)

This book is another fun one in a series of fun books! I’ve had to get a new copy because my original one was used until it’s pages started to fall out. This is a great series for transitional readers who are nervous about chapter books. It’s a quick read but still in chapter form.

A great extension on the picture book versions of this series, these titles provide more text, some illustration, and a deeper story than their predecessors. This is a brilliant next step in following this series and a welcome opportunity for those getting into independent reading. Feel confident that your children will not only enjoy the series and stories but love this next step in the collection.

My seven year old recently discovered the Black Lagoon books and now he wants to read them all. They are early chapter books with fun drawings and doodles. They are pretty funny too.

Definitely an update to the classic works by this artist but it still holds the same integrity as the originals. My daughter loves these new, fresh versions!
