These were a bit of a punt to be honest with mixed reviews, turns out they were probably referring to a powered version, not the passive version.Bought 6 to put round the garden in different points to have an even sound without it having to blast out from anywere in particular, paired with a zoned amp (4 different volumes in different places) they really have exceeded expectations. Great sound, plenty of bass, clear vocals, all sound really good with a cheap-ish amp to be fair but more than capable of putting these up to silly volumes which I'll rarely have it at. Highly recomended.

average quality at best, cannot put too high as can hear the distortion, perfect for the price i recon but peoples reviews saying how good quality they are i would take with a pinch of salt.I wish i had purchased better ones but thought id trial them for the price.If you have the money, go for better quality. These are barely worth the price.

I bought these to replace a pair of Tannoy speakers I've had outside on my patio for the last 15 years.I knew they wouldn't be up to the spec of the Tannoys, but I thought for a hundred quid they might at least be a decent set of speakers.Wrong.First thing you notice is how light they are! Wow - if I wasn't returning them I'd whip the driver out just to see how small the magnet actually is!Sound is thin and, well, it has this distorted quality I can't quite place - but needless to say, they ain't staying. Refund started and I'll be returning tomorrow.After a little more research I'm plumping for some Polk Atrium 6's.Oh - and my old Tannoys had a rubber seal on the input terminals and used a Molex connector - these have standard banana plug screw terminals with literally no protection, so the copper on your cable is going to oxidise in no time!So not overly impressed. Just happy that Amazon have a terrific return policy.

Quite impressed with the sound coming out of these. Bought on prime day with great discount, by far best price/quality ratio on amazon.
