had problems getting it but that is a problem with the company that brings it to the house. The item works great. Takes out the core of a Apple in total, unless you have a crooked apple.

Before buying this corer, I looked at the reviews on Amazon of various corers that were offered. I chose this one, based on a suggestion that its larger coring diameter was better. I'm coring home-grown apples for applesauce and for drying apple slices. This corer worked well on both projects - sharp, easy to guide through the stem - glad to have the larger diameter size. Working with "off-center" apples can still be a challenge, but no corer can solve that.

I work in a kitchen and got this thinking it would be a great addition to my tool set. I was wrong. First, the tool's diameter is smaller than the average, and can leave some core behind if you're not absolutely perfect with your aim. Second, it bent before I could get through a few pounds, and I needed to do roughly 10. I find it hard to believe that this is made with stainless steel rather than a cheap metal with a polished finish. I will most definitely be attempting to get a full refund.

Bought this a couple months ago and just got around to using it. First use out of the package, and it bent in the middle like a cheap spoon. I straightened it out and it did a nice job coring the apple, but I question how many uses it will hold up for until it snaps in half.

Very sturdy easy to use

I love this product. I use it for coring pears before I juice with them. Makes the process sooo much easier. My daughter likes to use it to. I also like how safe it is.

What can I say? This little tool is inexpensive and does the job. While I've used it on apples, it worked wonders on pears I was coring for pie. Works great, easy clean up.
