Not sure why I did not read the reviews. I usually do. These were one of my first few die purchases. They are horrible. A waste of money. One review mentioned dies are useless even with a shim - piece of cardstock. That is true. Do NOT was your money on these. They look pretty but 0 quality.Do not cut through regular printer paper. I got an embossed shape on cardstock

I like the design. I can use them for many different cards. This is the first time I buy some dies not sold by American designers. I was weary about buying them, and then I thought: Many of the dies I buy from known designers are made in China anyway. Why not buy them directly from Chinese companies if the ones I buy from them are also made there? They're a good price, I'll buy more in the future.

The dies are very beautiful but I was a little disappointed that some did not go all the way across the card and seemed a little short but still beautiful. Maybe it was just me.

I really like playing with my dye cutters. These are especially nice for making fancy envelopes out of old magazine or calendar photos. After the photo is cut, some of the shapes do need a push with a pin tip to empty them but the result is pretty. I use these for the flaps. After the cuts are neat and tidy, I fussy cut a scrap of matching paper to put behind the cut-out for contrast and glue it. I know I am going to do some fun cards, too, but am so far only using them as envelope enchantment.

Have used these dyes and they come out nicely. However, you have to work with your press to make sure its providing enough pressure to actually cut the paper. Once your dye is cut, then you need to spend some time removing the small pieces. Because there are small pieces. But once you remove them, the design is beautiful.

Really good service and product.

I have to learn how to use these better. Trying one on envelopes and just learning how to use them for what I want. Great value to try something new
