Citterio Rustico Sopressata Salami (2 Pack Chubs)

I had to turn to buying these online when we moved from California to Texas and our local store doesn’t carry the Citterio Rustico Sopressata. It really is excellent sopressata. My favorite is to make it for lunch using a bowl of cooked lentils, some sofrito sauce (Goya Sofrito is delicious) and chop up some sopressata and microwave. Super easy lunch that is high in iron, protein, and tastes delicious.

Tastes nothing like my families homemade sopressata or any other sopressata I've ever tasted. I could have saved a lot of money and bought salami at my local market. Taste fine on pizza but I would put it on my charcuterie board.

It's ok, it tastes cheap to me. Try cremenelli for a better taste

Delivered on time. This brand of sopresata is one of the best. Pricey, but worth it.

This is great stuff. Having grown up in an Italian family and visited Italy a lot, I've eaten my share of good Italian meats. The true test though is my father who never settles for less than the best when it comes to salami. My folks live in Florida and can't get good stuff down there, so I've ordered them this brand and they love it. When a salami is recommended by two "old world" Italians then you know it's good.

A bit bland, but that might just be because it's not how my family made it.
