I am severely allergic to all chemical dyes, but this one is great, finally no reaction!I have short medium/dark brown hair and the brown colour looks natural on me.After using this product for a while, here are my thoughts and method of application.I apply after washing my hair and then let it completely dry, then I use the product.It is easy to apply, but I apply the product onto a fine comb and comb it through my hair, instead of using my fingers as per the instructions, I find using fingers very messy. I find combing the mixture through my hair works best for me.I also leave it on longer than the instructions, at least 60 minutes to cover grey, any less and my grey hairs are still there after rinsing it off.I wash my hair everyday and by the end of the week my greys are all back, every wash reveals more grey.I am very happy with this product, after using many dyes, even ones that claim to be chemical free, I always end up with a reaction, but this one actually is reaction free for me 😊

This is a lovely product and great that it doesn't contain PPD or PTD (a lot of products that are PPD free do contain PTD instead, which you can be allergic to). I had a bad reaction to a standard hair dye and it was a struggle to find anything I could use that didn't contain henna (with lots of associated mess!). Some of my hair is 100% grey. I tried the strand test on a grey section and it just washed out. Then I read the instructions about not applying the dye if you have products left on the hair. As I'd used a heavy conditioner, I washed my hair just with shampoo (nothing else at all) in the evening and in the morning applied the dye. I was amazed that it worked and a rich brown emerged. The grey hair has taken on a more golden look, so it doesn't look unnaturally dyed. Not sure how long it will last, but happy with the result. Smells lovely. No itching scalp and I'm very sensitive. Try it but follow the instructions carefully.

This hair dye is good if you don’t want a dye with ppd in it

I got this as I’m allergic to all days containing ppd etc . This was left in for an hour as stubborn greys . Washed it and my grey was green . After another two bottles on it covered it slightly to a more yellow colour . Even tried the black on a separate occasion and it turned grey blue . An expensive product that doesn’t work avoid if you have prominent grey hair

I was pleased to find that I could use this product due to it not containing PPD's. It smells lovely, like citrus and it doesn't drip. I have long, thick hair and thought two bottles would never cover it, but they did. The dark brown looked black on application and I was so pleased at the thought of being that colour again. I waited 40 minutes but found that when washed out my hair was only tones darker than my own medium warm brown and the grey was not gone but subdued. I was very disappointed as I'd wanted it dark brown like on the packet. However, the condition was beautiful and the colour was richer. Whether I'll use it again at £20 a shot depends on how well it lasts.

I purchase this hair dye cause it contain No peroxide, ammonia and No allergenic PPDs. Being unable to colour my hair during Lockdown period. I have no choice by to dye my own hair. Decided to use this product to give my hair a boost of life. I have shoulder length hair. I picked Dark natural brown 423 not by choice as most of the colour are out of stock. So Dark Natural Brown was the next best. I was concerned putting an overall colour on my highlighted hair would lose the effect. Surprisingly, 90% grey pretty much covered, it adds lots of shine which makes the hair much healthier. The effects lasts for a couple of weeks before the grey creeping up again. If you have short to medium hair length, then half a bottle is all you need. save the other half of the mixture to be used at a later date. Very easy to use, no mixing, just dye straight from the bottle. comes with pair of gloves, hood and instruction leaflet. 20-30 minutes, left you with vibrant healthy hair. Highly recommended.

I liked the sound of this with no harsh chemicals. It was relatively easy to apply. I loved that there was no harsh smell, actually no smell as all. No uncomfortable tingling to the scalp which you get with other dyes. So, while waiting for the colour to develop I was hopeful that this would not only colour my hair plus the few greys that I have. But, it would also nourish my hair and scalp and leave a natural looking colour and shine. 35-40 minutes later and all washed off, I was disappointed to see the few greys and root growth still there.Disappointing as it was exactly what I was looking for plus vegan.Will not be buying again.
