Husband find the stapler easy to use and good value for money. He has mentioned it works well for his roofing tasks. He always goes with the Stanley hammers.

Nice and solid , I got to use on insulation. It works good but for me it’s a bit too heavy and had to hit it good. I’ll be giving it to one of my kids they’re stronger than the old mom lol

Got house wrap to put up? Now we're talking!I've always wanted one of these hammer tackers after seeing the guys on the DIY shows bashing the wall all over the place. It looks so satisfying and fun!IT IS!I put up a bunch of house wrap with a gun style stapler and it just wasn't satisfying and my hand hurt like crazy afterwards. Then I bought this tool and put up 400 sq ft of house wrap in about 15 minutes. No painful hands and incredible pounding satisfaction. The hammer tacker works exactly like you see the pros using it on TV except it feels so much cooler when you do it!Get it, you'll be glad you did.

Works ok
Product works, however if you drop it you will have to replace it. Arrows stapler is heavier but wont break and this one you have to swing real hard to get the staple to sit flush when roofing.

and the the absolute worse, is the loading spring clip design
Just an awful design. Three things which make that so...1. As others have mentioned, I had a lot of injured knuckles with this one. But when you use it with the intention of getting your knuckles out of the way, the staple will tear through the material.2. The "bolt" in the grip is now loose and needs to be whacked back in several times a day. Not a clever design there.3. Lastly, and the the absolute worse, is the loading spring clip design. There is no real lock mechanism on this and so every so often, the clip takes a flying leap all by itself. I have been fortunate so far not to have lost this piece, but the darn thing has sprung out by itself too many times in the worst places (in dark crawlspaces and on top of roofs). I have given up and ordered another brand and when it arrives, this one will become a spare.
