Allows new style R134a can tap to fit my existing A/C recharge hose
I recently discovered that my old refrigerant can tap for the old "puncture top" refrigerant cans doesn't work with the new style R134a cans with built in valve. While annoyed, I figured no problem I'd just get a new can tap for the new style refrigerant cans and go on with my taskImagine my surprise when I discovered the new can taps don't fit my existing A/C recharge hose and gauge set. This kit has the adapter i needed to connect it all together. It works great although one set of adapters would have been sufficient for my needs.

I couldn't find a set for the one size I need for my A/C setup so this did the job.

Multi-pack takes the guesswork out
Im a hobbyist and have old timey R12 refrigerant vacuum and recovery pump and use it on our family vehicles. These days with umpteen different auto and HVAC refrigerants there are umpteen plus one fittings and adapters and would not fit my pump. I do not know the difference between different types or sizes, including nomenclature, so did not know which fitting to nuy. Thankfully this offering of a set of diffrerent fittings caught mr eye. These areecomoically priced and strong enough not to break under normal use and easily replaceable on my pump. Now I have enough fittings to meet my limited needs.
