Sharp and durable. Perfect for cutting gauze and everything else. Good weight to it - not heavy but also not flimsy nor cheap quality. Perfect for any nurse, PA, or physician.

These are sturdy a sharp AF. Up and coming medic but I've used these already around the house when fabric needed cutting. Great price as far as I can tell. Not flimsy.

Smooth solid accurate scissor action through C.H. thick denim. Pivot point is of high quality. Metal stamping is produced from a quality press. Blunt tip is smaller than what you would find from many other inexpensive shears. Coating is smooth, non-shiny and poly injected handles are slightly textured, comfortable around fingers and thumb when applied pressure, and fit medium sized hands with or without nitrile gloves. I can't find my Carabiner Shears anymore and these were my pic out of several in their price range. No, I'm not a penny cutter. Can't speak to that. Actual measurement is 7-3/8". IMO, you will defiantly keep these.

My husband recently had a very, very bad case of poison ivy, or sumac or oak! It was in too many places to list here and it was bad enough to require a visit to the derm doc. After getting a steroid shot and a script for steroid ointment we headed home to change the dressings and get the steroid cream on it all to do it's job. That meant a ton of bandages (gauze pads, rolled gauze, self sticking bandage wrappings and lots of paper tape. Oh, and blue rubber gloves. Getting the bandages on was time consuming and so was getting them off - UNTIL this awesome pair of scissors showed up. It turned out to be a life saver - for me and my husband. It slid gently under the dressings and cut through the gauze wraps and paper tape with ease. They feel very strong, they are sharp, the grip is very comfortable, and the thumb and finger fittings are a nice size. I would highly recommend them.
