​​​​PopSockets: Phone Grip with Expanding Kickstand, Pop Socket for Phone - Metallic Diamond Black

This Pop Socket is really pretty. The color is very pretty in person and I love that it’s metal and not plastic which I didn’t know and so wasn’t expecting. It feels like a brushed aluminum. It sticks very well to my phone case , also found on Amazon, all the Pop SocketsI have purchased have been great and stuck to my cases very well. Never had one come off yet. There are a few cases around they won’t stick to as well because of the material they’re made from or if they’re textured but I have had all kind of cases since I’m an addict and never had one not stick yet. I’m really happy with this purchase. This is my 7th Pop Socket and I am a fan for life. They make it way more comfortable to take photos and selfies and just hold your phone in general. For me they’re a must.

*update!*As much as I loved this it only lasted me about 3-4 months before the adhesive wore off and the pop socket began to slide off my case.. which by the way i have a good quality brand (casemate) hard plastic phone case. Thru wear and tear it may eventually “pop” off, as you hold pressure against the adhesive overtime so if you lay down and on your phone like me and put all the pressure from holding the socket try to avoid doing so for it to last longer. It sucks that it doesn’t last long but I’m buying another one anyways because it was good while it lasted. And maybe with better care it will be fine. I love the black base compared to others ive searched(Original review below)I love it and i think you will too! I used to have a white one with a smooth opal design but it got scratched a lot and looked kinda generic. the white piece just looked dirtier. This diamond design and black color is much nicer!!

Just a little different design that I like. As with all PopSockets accessories, works well together.

So far this PopSocket is holding up wonderfully. I previously bought a different PopSocket and tried adhering it to a silicone case (which didn’t work) so I had to purchase industrial strength 3M sticky pads to replace the initial one in order for it to stick but I DID NOT have to do that with this one. It stuck well to my new chosen case and is holding up beautifully.I aesthetically love the look of the PopSocket as well.To those that are having trouble with it sticking it could be the material of your phone case. If not, just Prichard the 3M replacement sticky pads that state they will stick to multiple surfaces (including silicone) and it will be good to go. No reason to throw it out.

It's very cute and the look of it is just what I wanted but the adhesive was horrible and weak. It fell off my phone 3 times and I finally had to use my own glue to get it to stick.

Been using this product for over a year now and just bought another one to replace the old one. I perfer popsockets over other brands. I got the black diamond again, because that is what I had before this purchase. The only bad thing I have to say is that over time, the color tends to rub off. Not too bad though!! And effectiveness of the product has not changed (has not broke/fell apart/etc..) I just wanted to get a new one because the other was worn down. Would recommend!
