These are large canisters and they are pretty. Easy enough to remove floury fingerprints and sticky finger prints. I like the size and the nice seal with ridged flexible rubber around the tops. Nice canisters and unbreakable.

These are the high end Canister set you have been looking for. Will last a lifetime, high end stainless steel. The lids have a quality gasket that seals very tight, will keep items fresh. They seal so tight have to hold on and pull hard to open, but that is what you want in a Canister. Mine came with one of the measuring scoops missing, the 3 I received despite being the only part made in China are very high quality stainless steel but Manufacturer no longer has that size available to replace. No worries for me Amazon made it right so buy this the price is higher than others but will last you and whoever inherits it last both lifetimes. Very pleased and worth the extra cost upfront.

This is a very well-made set of canisters! All containers have a beautiful finish, nice and smooth stainless steel, inside and out. The lids have a seal that keeps them very tight. --I have to hold the canister in order to pull the lid off. I personally love the glass lids! It's very nice to be able to see what is inside...and to know whatever is inside is tightly sealed closed. The measure scoops are very nice and well made, but these are made in China. Even if you donate the scoops to Goodwill, the canister set is very well worth it! The canisters are beautiful =)

This is a very nice set of canisters. My husband bought a set of stainless steel canisters for me some 25 years ago. They were sturdy with sealing glass lids. I started looking for another set many years afterwards. I have needed a set for my bread ingredients. After buying many poor quality sets, I bought these. I am finished buying canisters as these are the perfect match for my original set. These are sturdy, the metal does not bend when you pick it up by the side or hold it against your body with your arm, to remove the lid. The lids are very sturdy and I am so happy they seal as well as my originals. My baking sugar does not get hard and turn into a rock in these. Surprisingly, they came with the cutest measuring cups I have ever had in my kitchen. While they look giant and much bigger than the measurement they indicate, they are spot on. I do not use them for measuring. I use them for scooping. These spoon cups are that strong. I could probably dig dirt with these and not break them. I am quite happy and content with the quality of this set.

The canisters themselves are lovely with tight fitting lids. Just what I expected.The scoops, however, are very disappointing. The stated capacity on every one is inaccurate. We compared with several other measuring cup sets. These cups all held more than the stated capacity. Baking is science, you can’t just come close. Cooking with them will not give you good results.

I looked all over the internet for a nice set of canisters, and I'm so happy I found this set. I love the look and durability of them. Despite having too little counter space in my kitchen, I opted to go with a wider canister set than the more readily available "narrow and tall" canisters I found more frequently online. My family are big coffee drinkers and although I prefer mine black, the husband and teens like their sugar or sweetener and milk with their coffee. And so we go through it quickly. We also have a nearly 100 year old house with lots of nooks and crannies - such as radiator pipe openings - where the mice come in. So we needed a good sealing set as well. This set fits the bill. My only issue with it is the lack of a handle to the containers. My husband has hemiplegia and the lids seal so well that it is difficult to life the lid from the canister with just one hand. Especially if there is not much in them as they are so light weight. A handle on the cannister or, even, perhaps an optional strap, or a big suction-cup bottom would make a big difference in his ease of using the canister set. So buy with confidence, but if the person/s who are going to use this set have no or very little use of one hand/arm, then take that into consideration.

I love this canister set!! My beef with my previous set was that they weren’t wide enough for me to measure and level off the flour/sugar over the canister itself and not spill it all over the place (and I hated that stupid rubber ring that never sat right and always flopped around every time I opened it). So my goal was to get bigger and wider containers to prevent waste/mess and get rid of those rubber rings. This set does the job perfectly and the beautiful stainless steel finish looks great sitting out on my counter. The seals on the lids are perfect—tight enough and they don’t come off. I didn’t necessary care about the measuring cups that were included, but they are very nice, too—highly recommend!(The photo is a comparison of how much bigger and wider the new set is compared to what I was using before)
