Great travel book
Great travel book. Very helpful and easy to use. Loved the smaller size to fit into my hydration pack. Thick pages and heavyweight cover to prevent damage when turning pages.

Small, Pocket-Sized, Good to Have
Though nothing can actually prepare you for the stunning Coast Redwoods in Northern California--their beauty will quite literally stop your breath--this book was extremely useful. It's a guide for spending your time wisely, The easier trails, and the wheelchair accessible paths (yes! you can visit the redwoods with a wheelchair or walker) are noted, as are the more rigorous hikes. Places nearby to stay are noted. Amazon delivered this book in less than three days. Highly recommended.

Does not include Humboldt State Park
Description of text is unclear, had to download and return because it did not cover the area I needed. Otherwise looks like a fine guide.

Great information with regarding most hikes in the Redwoods
Loved the accurate descriptions of the hikes. The map was most helpful to make the most of our time visiting the most trails on our short vacation. Highly recommend!!

My DIL loved it
This was a gift for my daughter in law before a trip to the Redwoods. She used it to plan where she'd go and found it very helpful. She bought another book in this series for a different location and liked that one as well

Just some of the Redwoods
Just want to mention that the title of this book is correct AND misleading. Uninformed, you might think, as I did, that you're getting a complete list of hikes in ALL the redwoods. However, be advised:"Redwood National and State Parks (RNSPs) are a unique state/federal partnership that includes Jedediah Smith Redwoods, Del Norte Coast Redwoods, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks." I did go to Prairie Creek on this trip, but also south to Avenue of the Giants, which is not covered. Hence. the 3 stars. I did like that the map in the front, shows the numbered hikes on a single page, so you can see how you might group them together. It's a good book for what it covers.

Covers much of the redwood empire of northern California.
I have visited many of these parks over the years, but my recent purchase of this guide opens up many new ideas for hiking and more for my next trip. Highly recommended.
