Worse Than the Old One
My 2000 Honda CR-V shifted fine, but when gently cruising at around 30-35 mph on city streets, it would drop down into overdrive. That was okay, but if I pushed a tiny bit more on the gas pedal, it would bog down, since the RPMs were so low. If I gave it a little more gas, it would shift into 3rd gear and everything would be fine. After doing a ton of research on the internet, it seemed like replacing this solenoid would solve that problem. But it didn't. In fact, not only did the "bogging" issue remain, but it made every shift hit like a hammer. So much so that I was worried something was going to break. It was so bad that I reinstalled my old solenoid. The "bogging" issue is still there, but the rest of the shifts are as smooth as butter. It's too late for me to return this crummy solenoid, but I'll keep looking for a better one. Save your money and do the same.

Junk, will cost you a lot more later is you use this.
Installed in 2000 honda civic. The car now shifts extremely hard into drive. SO hard the transmission makes a very loud clunk, and the whole car jerks. I'm going to try to fix the terminals on my original one, and if that doesn't work I'll pick up a used one at the scrap yard. If I leave this one in the transmission it will cause something much more expensive to break.

Created a harder shift than original
I installed it into my 98 Crv that had a minor shifting delay but enough for me to notice. Figured I give this solenoid a try for the money. Big mistake. Gave my Crv a extremely hard shift. Ordered a OEM genuine Honda part, never had back a problem.
