Perfect ammo for your slingshot - an upgrade from rocks
The media could not be loaded. Perfect for target shooting or getting rid of varmint (if you are a good enough shot). I bought them because I got really tired of using irregularly-shaped rocks that hurt my accuracy. With stones, you really have no idea what effect the wind is going to have on your shot. With these perfectly round metal shot, you don't have to worry about that nearly as much. They really just zing through the air.It also comes in a nice little black plastic case that snaps shut perfectly and won't open accidentally. This is really important as you don't want to be chasing shot around your floor. They are technically reusable, but trying to find the little buggers is the hard part. It is really not easy to find them after you shoot them unless you have something behind your target to catch them and funnel them into a bucket or something. In any case, they are cheap enough to get that even if you can't find them, it won't hurt your wallet all that much.

Works great, as designed
Using these are so much easier for accuracy than rocks or other imperfect spheres. Was able to go from beginner to hitting a can consistently from about 20 feet on the daisy wrist rocket style slingshot within a couple of days. I bought the ammo at the same time as the slingshot. Definitely satisfied with how they worked.

They work fine but I think 5/16 is better all around
It can be pretty difficult to hold a 1/4" ball in a heavy leather sling. After a few shots it can start to get annoying trying to 'find' the ball in the sling and get a confident pinch on it.The mass of the 1/4" balls is fine for pretty short range shots, say about 35 feet at most, but I think 5/16" or maybe 3/8" would be a more practical and useful all around ammo size for slingshots. If you're not experienced in slingshot plinking, you might be surpised how quickly you can go through ammo. If you're shooting pretty steady for an hour you might use half a box or more. A magnet can help you recover your ammo but I recommend buying a couple boxes if you're going on a camping trip or weekend slingshot tour or some other type of event where you plan to shot a lot throughout the week/weekend.

Not perfectly round, but ok.
These are not perfectly round. One side is flat from the production process. Its not really much of a problem for a slingshot that they are not perfect spheres, just don't say they are if they aren't. I would give these 4 stars if "perfectly round" was not in the product description. I was meaning to order the 3/8 size, but accidentally ordered these. I wouldn't give these 5 stars if they were perfectly round because I just think 1/4 is too small a shot for a slingshot. usable, but really too small.
