Hecate: Queen of the Witches or Wise Crone (Celebrate the Divine Feminine)

short but very informative
Short read but there isn’t a lot to be known about Hecate so I understand why. There is a lot of good information on her in this book so I still highly recommend it.

Price is set right for size!
This was a smaller size book as far as reading, so I wasn't at all disappointed with the price I paid versus the material offered to read. (I have not read the book yet, but will update and add to my review later after reading to let you all know my thoughts on the author and material offered.) I do appreciate this author writing about Hecate at an affordable price, as most often we are on a budget and it's nice to have your own copies on hand!

Good book
Liked the information provided. It gave pretty accurate history. I was hoping for a little more info on how to honor her or give offerings to Hecate. Overall pretty good book.

Wonderful Chap Book
This is a wonderful small book. This is perfect for beginners and seasoned witches who work with Hecate. It gave a lot of information in a few pages, have some very good rituals, a powerful guide meditation and music suggestions. Worth the price.

This “book” is a pamphlet, filled with basic online info, and not worth your money
I’m really disappointed in this “book.” Had I seen this in a store I wouldn’t have spent the $4 on it. About a third of it is on rituals and meditation; normally I’d like this, but it’s all for group practice, and I’m solitary. When the so-called book is just over 30 pages, that’s a lot of wasted space that could’ve been more actual info. Especially when the majority of it I already knew from basic online searches. Even if you’re a beginner, don’t waste your money on this. Her first entry for sources and recommended readings is for DJ Conway - go with DJ’s books directly. She’s informative and a good author. You feel like you get your money’s worth.

Not thrilled but informed. Essentially clickbait.
The book, or excerpt from a book as one comes in find out, is thought out and well-informed. However, the title is misleading because it doesn't actually debate if Hecate is a Queen or Crone. This excerpt references parts of the book you don't get with this unit, which is taken from the middle of the book. I understand that's a marketing tactic. At least use the first chapter and make it clear that's all it is. Wait until the end of the book for all the links. Otherwise, it feels like clickbait, especially when the excerpt is so short.

Poorly Sourced
I don't recall what inspired me to download this book (perhaps it was free). It didn't take long before warning bells were going off as claims were made about Hecate's origins without citations or at least an explanation of how the author came to that conclusion. A great many generalizations are made as well as assumptions without theory or reference. If this was meant to be a telling of one woman's personal gnosis, then it serves that purpose (although with a great many spelling and grammatical errors).
