It's a thin summer glove, so dont expect outstanding protection. Damage shown is from 20 mph crash into dirt. Sustained no hand injuries, seams did not separate. 4 stars because if i slid on asphalt instead of dirt my hand would certainly have suffered. Would buy it again for $30 (sale price) however for 50 would look for something leather.
