Add a basket for your bunny.
High quality bicycle for a great price. Not sure why reviewers are complaining about assembly. This ships mostly preassembled. The hand brake, cabling and brake assembly are all preassembled. All of you have to do is insert the preassembled handlebar assembly into the front fork. That’s it. Front tire needs to be inserted, which is literally two cap nuts. Rear wheel, chain, all come assembled. Tube, tire, wheel all ready to go. Took me about 10 minutes to assemble. And, most of that time was removing the significant amount of packaging (which did a great job protecting it in shipment). Great looking bike! Daughter just turned 7, average size for her class, and this is perfect. Seat is almost all the way down, leaving a few years of growth accommodation. She added a basked to the front. Highly recommend that if you have a stuffed bunny rabbit to ride around with.

Excellent young girl’s bike!
It’s not often you feel like you got more than you paid for however, in this case I had to check what we paid twice. The quality of this bike is outstanding, it’s beautiful painted, the colors and accents are bright enough to dazzle a kid but it’s not your typical pink “character bike”. Our daughter is 4’ tall and it’s a perfect fit with some room to grow. It was easy to put together and they actually give you decent tools with the bike. You will need metric sockets to get it done right though. I’m a picky bike owner, I don’t like rattles, I do t like any crooked, the fenders and chain guard are quiet and well fit. We covered about 5 miles today with my daughter and she is ready to go out again.I don’t see how you can go wrong with this bike. If I had to complain about anything is that it’s a little heavy and there were not any other color options when we bought it.But one before the price goes up.

Nice Bike With a Few Issues
Nice looking bike, design and parts are great once assembled. Definitely better then most box store bikes. Would give five stars accept for the following things. Drivetrain did not come from the factory in working order, almost sent it back. The back wheel would barely coast, and there was a constant popping sound from the rear hub. Had to take the rear wheel off and back the hub bolts off of the bearings, they were far too tight, that did fix it but you need to be more mechanically inclined. Assembly instructions were rubbish, thankfully I have experience working on bikes. Chain guard is plastic, was really hoping for something that would last here, almost impossible to find a replacement for these once broken. When kid rides to school this is what keeps grease off her pant legs. And a kickstand would be nice if it came with this bike, this is a cruiser not a BMX bike.

DOES NOT work with normal training wheels
The bolt on the back wheel is not long enough to put training wheels on. The training wheel bracket is as thick as the bolt is long so the nut doesn't catch. Also the fender is held on with two screws that are right above the bolt and so any adjustable trying wheels can't move up. Now I need to go try to find some very thin training wheels and remove the fenders. Also it did not come with a kickstand.

Nice bike but missing pieces
The bike is nice and sturdy. There are no instructions for putting it together but we were able to figure it out. The problem is that there are three bolts needed to hold the wheel guards in place and all three were missing. It makes the bike unridable. There also isn't a kickstand. Really bummed out because we put it together for my daughter's birthday and she can't even ride it.

Brakes like to stick...
Meh. It’s a cute bike, but this is the second model (we bought the exact same bike for my kid at two different homes) and both bikes have the same issue: the brakes occasionally stick for no reason. It’s highly annoying and makes biking harder for my kid.Aside from that, it’s great, but...is it too much to ask to buy a working bike out of the box?

Wrong Bike Not Pictures
Bike they sent is a navy blue viper jr. that is not what is advertised at all. Do not buy. The bike looks more like a bmx kids bike, not a sidewalk cruiser. Would be nice if I got what was advertised… I am really disappointed and hope it works out for the birthday party.

Won't take Training wheels
Bought this bike for my 48" tall 4 year old. She needs something this size, without gears, that will take training wheels. This bike looked like a great candidate. I spent an hour trying to get the training wheels on, but they wouldn't fit. As a sanity check, I took it to a local bike shop, and they confirmed this for me. I sent it back, and bought a different brand. Dumb design diamondback!

Deserved 5 stars but....
Beautiful bike, assembly was a snap. One thing, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the back wheel hub bolt was too tight on my bike as well, it is an easy fix if you understand the mechanics of the wheel (ie. could be an issue for some people). My only complaint was the large Diamondback promotional sticker right in the middle of the frame (yes, it was a big deal). It took me 45 minutes to scrub and clean the area (longer than it took to build the bike), this was a sticker with nuclear strong glue, completely resistant to rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, laundry and dish soap, it should be easy to remove sticker glue from smooth painted metal, not this stuff... never seen anything like it. Couldn't Diamondback have put their website and contact info in the instruction book, like a normal company? Just asking. That being said, great purchase.
