Babymoov Premium Care Baby Monitor Audio, 1400 m long range, with 2 way talkback, night light, temperature, lullabies, VOX

We own a large stone property with 1 metre thick walls, where Wi-Fi barely works from room to room so it was always going to be a challenge for a wireless baby monitor however these work superbly and I would thoroughly recommend if this is an issue. Overall very satisfied as this was my biggest concern but these have worked great. What isn’t so great though is the poorly translated instructions. The transmitter white baby side monitor has a VOX setting which is basically ‘sensitively’ at its highest level the connection is always on but at lower settings it may just send through the signal when baby is crying, if you have background white noise it can useful to use but you wouldn’t know any of this from the instructions. Annoyingly only one of the kit had a rechargeable battery - the parent side and the other took AAA batteries why the designers decided this is beyond me. My wife was always confused why the baby side could be plugged in but then not charged up. It does NOT charge rechargeable batteries if in place. So if baby fell asleep in cot or car you need to run around for batteries when you use the monitor. Also the built in background music is awful and thus useless - worse than that it’s very easy to trigger it from the parent / black monitor as it part of the on button - so if you slip it the wrong way slightly it blasts music suddenly at the baby end and wakes baby up. Overall as range was my priory these were superb and despite the flaws deserve 5 stars however the other design choices could be easily fixed the overall technology is great but must not have had a baby and tried them out.

There’s no background noise like some other monitors have, and it works at such a long distance through very thick walls.

Great range as the product says.... but very distorted and very quiet you can hardly make out the sound through the monitor. Also very cheap feeling one drop I imagine it would break. Definitely not worth the money.

This is a great Baby Monitor and is being used as a spare at the Grandparents house to save us moving ours back and forth. The design is fairly simple but effective - the Baby unit can be a nightlight and play lullabies which is a lovely feature, all of which you can choose from the parent unit without being in the room so this is very handy for attempting to settle Baby without physically going in. The nightlight is also handy so you can see what you're doing once in there without putting the main light on. It's very effective and sound quality is clear. It doesn't have as many features as the other ones we use at home which have the camera function but this does do a good job and you can talk to Baby from your parent unit in another room, again without going in there so sometimes this does work from the comfort of your bed if it's just a small whinge!! All in all a great little unit, good range and no problems as of yet, recommended.

Love it and works at the distance too

I’ve had a number of audio and visual monitors over the years and had planned on using our existing angelcare with our newborn. However, we moved to an old stone house with a long driveway and found that it wouldn’t reach through the stone walls into the garden. I tried several other monitors and nothing worked before finding this one online. I was also really pleased that it was a low emission monitor as there seems to be increasing question marks around using DECT and video monitors around babies. Firstly, let me say that this monitor works well on both these fronts. The range is definitely not 1400m as advertised, but then I’m yet to come across a monitor which has the range it claims. However it DOES have a much longer range than any others I tried and actually works in our garden. I’ve also had no issues with the sound quality - it’s completely quiet when the baby is, but picks up any cries easily. So all in all these features have made it an ideal monitor for us. However, it’s massively let down by technical glitches and some very frustrating features, so much so that I can’t give it 5 stars even though I’m so grateful for its long range. Firstly, we’ve had issues with the pairing just randomly stopping and have had to repair three times. Secondly, the melody feature (which we never use) has suddenly played through the child monitor on the odd random occasion. Which may not sound like a big deal but when you’ve finally got your kid down for a nap, only for them to wake because of a nasty loud melody blasting into the room...if you’re a parent you’ll understand why that’s a star taken off right there. Another really annoying feature is that when the child makes a noise, the parent monitor lights up as you’d expect but so does the child monitor! Which means in the middle of the night, if the baby makes a few murmurs the monitor picks up the noise and starts flashing bright white light and a baby who might have settled themselves back to sleep becomes really awake. SO annoying. In summary this monitor would be amazing if they just sorted out these issues. I love it but I frequently find myself furious at it!

Simple easy to install and use product

Works well, but they don’t last. We’ve bought three pairs already and it has broken again. Considering it is quite expensive for what is fundamentally nothing overly sophisticated, they should last longer than 12 months.

RAS, vraiment top, vibre bien et capte très bien les son. 2 babyphone de cette marque (le 1er m’avait été offert il y 6 ans). Je recommande fortement J’ai quand essayer des 2 ou 3 modèles avec vibreur moins coûteux mais finalement tous renvoyés car de qualité bien moindre

Lo hemos comprado para personas mayores. En un principio estábamos preocupados por la distancia a la que necesitábamos poner emisor y receptor, ya que queríamos usarlo para poder estar atentos de una casa a otra. Aún habiendo casi 30m y varios muros entre los dos aparatos se recibe la señal, lo que nos está facilitando la vida bastante. El receptor solo se activa cuando el emisor detecta sonidos, por lo que no se hace pesado tenerlos activos 24/7. Volvería a comprar el producto, recomendable.

Ottima ricezione, testato da molto lontano

Wir haben uns dieses Babyphone gekauft, da wir bereits den Vorgänger haben und dieser einfach toll ist, vor allem wegen der hohen Reichweite. Nun sind zwei Kinder da und im Urlaub schlafen diese auch in zwei Zimmern. Also musste ein neues Babyphone her. Da ich hier zwei Sender habe, fiel mir die Entscheidung nicht schwer. Alternativen gab es ja auch nicht. Den zweiten Sender musste ich leider (teuer) über einen anderen Anbieter kaufen. Das war etwas ärgerlich! Test: Obwohl die Reichweite ebenfalls 1000m sein soll (oder sogar mehr), bin ich etwas enttäuscht. Das Babyphone hat zwar gesendet, aber ständig hat es das Signal verloren. Der Vorgänger hat an selber Stelle einwandfrei empfangen und es waren bei weitem keine 1000m, ehr 150m. Dennoch finde ich die Idee mit den zwei Sendern nach wie vor gut und so werde ich es im nächsten Urlaub wieder testen. Fazit: Kann man machen! Würde es definitiv nicht zurückschicken, ist schon eine tolle Möglichkeit beide Kinder zu hören.

Pour moi ce babyphone a 5 défauts: - la qualité du son, on entend plus les interferences que la voix de bébé ; - le niveau sonore insuffisant. Heureusement que j'ai un sommeil léger sinon je n'entendrais pas mon bébé; - le bouton pour lancer une musique berceuse chez bébé est juste un cran après le ON. Si on appuie un peu trop fort pour passer de OFF en ON, on lance la musique chez bébé. - l'émetteur fait une lumière dès qu'il perçoit un bruit. Ce qui veut dire que dans la chambre de bébé où il fait noir complet, le babyphone fait une lumière à chaque bruit, je doute que cela aide bébé à se rendormir tout seul. En tout cas pas mon bébé. - est livré avec : une prise et 2 câbles pour charger usb-usbc. L'émetteur est soit sur pile soit sur prise. Le récepteur est soit sur batterie, soit sur prise. Comme la prise fournie alimentais l'émetteur, j'ai voulu charger le récepteur avec une autre prise usbc. J'en ai testé deux (smartphone et pc), aucune des deux ne fonctionnait. Comme s'il fallait absolument charger avec le câble usbc fourni. Où est le principe de chargeur universel requis par l'Europe la dedans ? Bref décevant, passez votre chemin.
