Good tool
Have to hammer on it pretty good to get it started, but once it got threaded in it popped the seal right out. The seal installer worked perfect.

Got the job done...
Works on a TH400 to remove the shift shaft seal with no problem.. will take a little force via a hammer to get it to seat on the seal to screw out but it works....stopped my leak so im happy with it...The seal worked as well.

THE EXTRACTOR BROKE ON THE FIRST TRY
THE FIRST USE, THE THREADED END BROKE OFF IN THE TRANSMISSION. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE USED THIS TYPE OF EXTRACTOR. VERY SAD

This works for a TH400. The bolt is too short that comes with it. I just happened to have a longer 3/8 bolt. Good tool for the price.

Too long for my Chevy th350
The media could not be loaded. The tool itself is to long to for my stock 1973 th350.I made it work by putting a 1/4 x 1/2in extension from a ratchet set inside the tool which filled in the gap between the extractor bolt and the shifter shaft. Once I filled in that space with the extension the bolt pushed against the extension and the extension pushed off the shifter shaft like the bolt was mean too. Overall the tool worked but was 1/2 too long by itself to actually work on my car, the seal sit perfectly and the install tool worked greatBut as for the tool itself if you find it to long to push off your shifter shaft then just add a 1/4in extension inside the tool for it to work.

Cheap crap
Followed instructions, didn’t work. It ended up breaking the threads on the end when I tried to remove the seal, seems like the metal they used to make this tool is the cheapest they could find.

It worked.
As on youtube, bolt is not long enough, however, floor pan in the way if bolt longer. I just put a small bolt( loose) in other end to push seal in. Worked a treat.
