The install was fairly easy with 2 people and the seal is decent. I took it to the local car wash to see how much it would leak and it leaked a little at the front and very little around the tailgate. Only complaint I have about this cover is that two different types of clamps were sent (long and short) causing the installation to not be as secure as I would like because the long clamps do not have the proper teeth to match my Silverado 1500's bed. This will make the two long clamps with improper teeth slip if hit by cargo (see the pictures attached of 1 proper clamp and 1 improper). I have contacted the seller and I am waiting to hear back on whether or not they will send me the proper Silverado 1500 clamps to replace the 2 improperly fitting clamps. If so, I will update this review.Update: Updating to 5 stars. Seller contacted me, sent the proper clamps and did it the same day I contacted them. I have installed the clamps and the cover is thankfully more secure. Excellent customer service! I would definitely recommend this cover as it fits perfect and is way less expensive than many others.

I installed this cover by myself and it was tough, you really need two people. It took me an hour and a half to put it on, if I would’ve had another person it would’ve taken thirty minutes. It comes with extra parts and pieces in case something gets broken.(very nice in my opinion).I did my research on all types of covers for my GMC sierra. This one was the only one under a grand that had locks. You can spend a lot more money on other brands but would it really be worth the cost? I haven’t tested the leakage as of yet but it comes with all the weather stripping that you’ll need.When you unbox the cover don’t be alarmed if you can’t find the keys. They were wrapped up in plastic around the tether used to pull the cover closed. It took me a while to find them..It doesn’t sit flush with the bed but for me it isn’t an issue. It sits about 3/4 of an inch above being flush, it’s very sturdy and seems to be very well made. I will update my review after it passes or fails the leak test.If you’re unsure about buying this cover, take it from me, you’ll be very happy with it. There was a little water by the tailgate but not enough to be concerned about. I think the people that are complaining about the leaks must not have tightened the rails correctly or didn’t use the weatherstripping that came with the cover. Very happy with this cover and would definitely recommend.Put on a 2020 GMC sierra.

It will take two people to install. The bolts that hold the rails to the coil box are an absolute PITA. They are some kind of allen/torx bolt that requires you to use the special Allen wrench that is furnished. The engineer who came up with this cave man configuration needs to be retrained. Once you get the rails mounted and the top coiled up, it's pretty easy to clamp it into the box. The top slides very nicely and the dual locks function well. I was disappointed at how much space it takes up when open. The top does not roll all the way into the box and so it takes up about 16" of the box. If I ever need to haul a bigger item, I will have to remove the four clamps, take the whole cover out as one piece (requiring two people) and reinstall after. The other issue to note is the aluminum gets screaming hot in the sun. Yes I know it's black but it would be better if it was matte black or made of poly instead of metal.

Very pleased with this purchase. Took me 2.5 hours to install working mostly alone. Great quality. Instructions and video are very helpful. Feel like this product is a better value than some similar product that look the same. I have been through multiple rain storms and a car wash and I have yet to see any water get past the cover. For 23 Silverado the drain tubes from the box near the front of the bed seem too large to fit into the existing drain holes in the bed. I was able to squeeze the tube in the holes. Barely. They may want to adjust the size of those tubes in the future.

After researching and doing some more researching I decided to pull the trigger on this bed cover. Boy did I make the right call! The assembly was a bit challenging, but if you watch the video you shouldn’t struggle as much. The quality and style match exactly what I was looking for with my 2023 GMC SLT truck. It has two locks which ensures safety. It rolls back easily and has a long cord to retract it back. On this purchase I used the Affirm feature, which was super convenient and affordable for me. I have run it through the car wash several times and it is definitely water resistant. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase the water tubes, because the ones it came with were bent. Otherwise, this product was one of my best purchases so far on Amazon.

I have had this cover for a week now and I like it. It is a little hard to figure out how the rails attach but stay with it and you will get it. You do need two people to lift onto the truck and make sure you fully read the instructions. You will see where the keys are located and how it says NOT to wax or polish. Cover doesnt fully retract but I knew that from the other reviews, its not that bad. I looks absolutely fantastic and really seems like its quality, I looked at the Roll and Lock covers for about 1000.00 more on trucks in my neighborhood and this looks way better. Also I have had a rain storm here (Florida) and the bed was dry. It says in the manual you have to drill for the drain tubes but I didnt, I just ran the back tubes out between the tailgate and bed, and the fronts I put through caps on each side underneath the box area of the roll up box where the cover retracts into. We will see how the paint holds up but I love it so far.

It effectively keeps a of the water out, but the retractable mechanism takes up too much space. but does keep your back storage locked on the plus side

Installed on 2024 GMC sierra, used Pace-Edwards in the past, this product is less than half the cost and is just as good and easy to install. Only negative is the screw caps, cheep, used the ones at Lowes.
