GoCat 36 in Stick/Wand Cat Toy, Handmade in the USA

Unpacked item and started playing with two 8 mos old kitties who seemed to love it........BUT within less than a minute the streamers started coming off the wand.....then the feathers were coming off......the kitties didn't even touch the toy! I quickly picked up the feathers and streamers and discarded them in the trash before they could start chewing on them......if these items were to be consumed it would be a costly trip to the vet hospital for life threatening conditions. THIS ITEM IS UNSAFE...... please...don't get this item if you love your pet. The toy lasted less than 5 min.........maybe I received a bad item......I surely don't want another.

I'm very pleased with this product. I had purchased something a few years ago from a local pet store, but had been unable to find a wand the same length again and it was my cat's absolute favorite toy (she loved chasing around the stick part long after the feathers were gone). So happy this product was available from the seller on Amazon and would definitely purchase again. From years of overuse and much play, my cat's old stick would get shorter and shorter. So, when her new wand arrived- she was filled with immense joy and she loves her new stick and the fluffy tail (which I'm sure will last the regular amount of time such things do around their natural predators). Very satisfied and so grateful to have found this cat toy to replace her old broken one. Excellent wand length with long fluff tuft for hours and hours and hours and more hours of fun (for the cat).

I've never seen a cat toy like this. Our Himalayan and Persian boys go absolutely nuts for this thing. In fact, I have to put it up on a high shelf out of their reach when not in use, but they still know exactly where it is and will frequently stop and stare up at it - begging me to get it down and play with them. They'll do backflips trying to catch this thing as I shake it around over them. Highly recommended.

This product is very cheaply made. Just a clump of feathers taped into the end of a plastic stick with floral tape. It immediately came apart from the stick with the tape not attached and unwinding. Cat play is very active and this item is definitely not made to withstand this kind of activity. This was a bad purchase decision. Don't bother!

I got the sparkling duster with the pink feathers and mylar. My cat loves it. It is a much longer length than the normal toys Ive seen, which increase the field of the playing area, thus increasing the lengths of the jumping of the cat. I got this to strengthen my cat's back legs since his back legs are weak from arthritis.

My cat Bean says "it's a great toy but can't you make the shiny mylar pieces not fall out everytime it's played with". I happen to manufacture products in China and I can tell you this toy is waaaay over priced for the quality of it. This item should have come with 3 extra heads pieces because the overall quality of the toy is really poor and for the price you're selling this at it would only cost you less than $.25 for 3 extra heads.This item started falling apart after 5 minutes of play and I'm still picking up little pieces of stringy mylar all over the place and I hope my cat is not trying to swallow them.

I’ve bought two of these so far. The first one was perfect. My cats loved it so I bought a second one. The second one, however, arrived with a squished box, and when I opened it, the wand was completely bent in two places. I was disappointed. It was just a hassle to bring it to the post office since the box won’t fit in a regular mail drop box. They need to do a better job with packaging!

Perhaps I received a lemon, but with her first jump my 3.5 lb. five month old Persian kitty managed to remove a large peacock blue feather and several small feathery pieces from this brand new wand when her paw made contact with it. After seeing this item receive much rougher treatment on videos, I'm quite disappointed, as well as concerned. I don't want her chewing and swallowing feathers.
