This grab bar was exactly what we needed for my father’s shower. It was easy to mount securely and feels incredibly strong and stable once installed. It gives both him and us peace of mind knowing he has reliable support when getting in and out of the shower. The quality is excellent, and it blends in well with the bathroom. Highly recommend for anyone needing a dependable safety bar!

This pole was the nicest item in every way. The packaging was perfect, the directions were so easy to follow and made putting the pole together was a no brainer! Good job ! Any older folks looking for safety in walking from A to B I have tried everything for my husband and this pole is it. You can put it anywhere and it is so simple to do. Get one !!

Five stars. Only issue before my review: The grab bar part can be a little slippery with wet hands, especially if you use shower lotion. I masked the rest of the pole and applied a few coats of Plasti Dip white rubber spray coating to the bar and problem solved. @Stander, put a textured. non-slip surface on the grab bar.Installed this in a rental with textured plastic tiles that won't hold suction cups and a landlord that won't install a permanent grab bar. The parts are marked and instructions are clear so it was quick and easy to assemble and install. Required tools are included but having a level would help. Once installed and tightened up it wouldn't budget with normal usage. Perfect for help getting in and out of a bathtub.Must install on a solid, flat surface and flat ceiling. Won't work on cathedral ceiling. Would probably work inside a shower with a solid tile floor and possibly a steel tub with a *flat* surface, but not inside a curved tub or plastic tub or shower.

I bought this for my dad after he had a stroke to help him get out of his recliner chair and stand to transfer to his wheel chair. He also uses it for his therapy sessions. His room has a 10 ft ceiling so I had to contact the manufacturer to buy a longer section to reach the ceiling for a secure support. The original parts were about 2 inches too short. The steel poll sections are very strong and the H section at the top has rubber covers on the ends for grip and provide a firm broad base to hold everything in place. The top H also has screws to secure it to the rafters in the ceiling. The floor section has a rubber gasket that grips the floor or carpet to prevent it from sliding. The center has a large threaded section to tighten the poll assembly between the ceiling and the floor. A wrench is included. It is very rigid and secure. The Wonder Pole Lite has given my dad a new sense of freedom now that he can securely pull himself up without the fear of falling. I highly recommend this product for anyone that has balance or mobility problems. The nurses alway tease him about having a dance poll in his room and he replies the he just wants to be prepared in case someone comes by.

My mother came home from re-hab and does not have strength in arms to use. She just got home and 30 days is past. I would like to return.

I now have two of these and may buy a third! I just can't say enough about how good they are. It comes with a hefty wrench to tighten it up, so I had everything I needed to install. As my room layout changes, I can move it fairly easily, and when it's tightened well, it hasn't needed holes in the ceiling. One beside the bed allows my dear one to be more independent, safely standing by himself. One in the bathroom is also a big help.

I had to return this because I’m a complete idiot. Look up when deciding where it needs to be placed. As any sensible person would easily determine, this won’t work under a skylight… or on vaulted ceilings. My attention to detail is absolutely breathtaking. My parents have been living in the same house for 35 years and I never realized the only rooms without vaulted ceilings were the bathrooms… and both have skylights over the toilet. Doh!It’s easy to assemble and is extremely sturdy. This is real medical device quality. It accommodates a variety of ceiling heights by using a clever design that does not compromise stability in any way should you need to extend it all the way up.

This is a great product. I have limited use of my legs and this allows me to transfer from my bed to my walker or to a wheelchair. I would have been lost without it.
