AMAZING, HIGH QUALITY pictures!
Although the package did not actually contain the instructions for this camera, I was able to find it quite easily on the SONY website, and I enjoyed how easy it was to follow! Once I did have the camera in order (with the settings I wanted, and, by the way, you have many options when it comes to settings), I (easily) took a few quick shots, which came out stunning and clear. I also liked how far I could zoom in and still have the photos turn out beautiful.Highly recommend this camera for newbies such as myself just getting into the hobby!

Amazing Work
It looks brand new! It comes with the basic supplies (like the camera cover, a cord to connect with the computer, band so the camera can hang from your neck)! So worth the price and you get to support a small business!! It comes very quickly

Excellent point and shoot, medium ranged camera.
The optics at full zoom are a bit off, even with a stable tripod. It takes excellent pictures and 1m to 15m and maybe a little farther. The auto focus feature is annoying, you can manually adjust it between a few options; but it really cannot be manually controlled. It lacks the range of features a full camera feels like it should. It does have excellent light balance and manual light balance control. It lacks the ability to take filters natively, a UV filter option would have made this camera one of the best I've tried.I can take pictures of the moon, and it takes the pictures well enough that I enjoy them. Try it with your cell phone camera, and you'll be very disappointed. I have a Pixel 3 and it has an amazing camera, with excellent native processing ability for quality photo's at roughly no-focus 3m range. This is an excellent camera for taking portraits, with well lit controlled environments. This was a great learning camera for me, and I will be upgrading to an entry level DSLR or Mirrorless as soon as money becomes available. This would make an excellent gift for an beginner wanting to get into photography, or for yourself if you want to try your hand at it.I suggest a tripod and a bag for it. The battery life is pretty bad. I've had batteries last about a day before having to replace them. Which this takes 4 AA batteries, and that is a good and bad thing. You'll want some nice recharables with some backups in the bag, but you cannot just plug the camera in and charge it.The USB interface is nice. It plugs in and plays without requiring software. The Sony software is nice, but not necessary. At least natively on windows 10. The USB physical port on the camera isn't a common one, and I hope the cable doesn't require replacing before I replace the camera or the camera is past it's life (I bought refurbished).

Never order renewed electronics.
The camera worked fine for about 20 pictures. When I took the SD card out, the camera wouldn't recognize it again. It wouldn't recognize any SD card. Too bad because the camera was really nice. It's a shame I couldn't find one like it new.

Like NEW condition, but annoying features that held me back from fully using the camera
The 4 x AA batteries lasted through over 200 pictures. The 20mp images where a good size, but navigating the menu for too many features really hurts the camera's viability. It also seemed to have blue shift and some issues on the right side of the images with white blurring on many of the images. The camera did well when taking pictures directly into Sunlight. Very surprising! No Purple lines. Happy with that.At this price, a great starter camera with Super Zoom 35x.

Semi-final thoughts
Okay it takes beautiful pictures and despite some people hear having unfortunate problems with the cameras lighting and battery life, I have yet to have issues. It is, mind you, a digital camera and takes high res pics. If you want to save battery life the settings may help. As for night pics I have tested for light but it handles sunny extremities well.It was worth my money and what I expected! I saw someone suggest rechargeable batteries I may do this to save on resources. Other than that I'm truly happy with this purchase! Good luck with yours and best wishes!

Sweet camera
I love this camera. It's very easy to use, has great quality and can use regular AA batteries. I used the same set on my vacation and they are still holding excellent power. The pics shown above show the zoom quality. That yellow house is in the center of the pic WAY out in the distance across the lake. I bought the refurbished one for a discounted price and am very pleased with the whole thing.
