This is the best coil cleaner I have ever used in 35 years of servicing A\C condensers. Recommend to all of my friends.

I'm a DIY - HVAC contractor wanted $400 per unit to clean outside condensing coils. I have 3 units, took me about and hour to disassemble and clean each unit over a couple of days. 3 - 4 hours outside, saved $1,154 bucks. Cut it with some water and use hand sprayer. Be sure to cut power, lock out, protect circuit board and compressor from water (garbage bag cover) let sit for 5 - 10 minutes, will foam up, don't breath fumes, gently rinse with water from inside out.

Great product, pretty potent stuff. I manned-up and used it with shorts and without gloves. Every now and then a drop would fly on my skin and quickly started to burn. No marks or long lasting affects.I did the heavy use 1:4 ratio and mixed 3.2 cups of this with 12.8 cups of water into my 1 gallon sprayer. I went nuts and used the whole gallon for one application. After I sprayed it into the crevices it started to foam up. I sprayed the inside too for the heck of it. After a few minutes the foam started to look brown as it carried the dirt out of the cracks. About 15 minutes later I rinsed it all off with water.After putting everything back together and turning on my A/C, man I tell ya that thing is many times quieter than it was before. I've had to open the door to check that it's even on. It was getting louder and louder as each month passed. You kind of get used to it since it's a slow progression of noise. The motor can work less and cool more efficiently. I'm sure it'll show in my electricity bill.What led me to getting this product is that the compressor kept itself off after overheating while the fan was still turning. I came home and the furnace was still circulating inside air but it was warm at 82 deg. I ordered the product then luckily the day it came the compressor/fan was so loud we had to turn it all off so the neighbors wouldn't complain.Last season I used a $5 can of cleaner from the local hardware store. Did it's job for one season. But from now on I'm using this product every Spring.

Will make your HVAC coils look new just be careful it is very strong and wear gloves and glasses etc. definitely mix it based on how dirty your coils are 1 gallon can last a long time. Great brand with a good reputation.

Got this to clean out the condenser on my car. Put it in a hand spray bottle, diluted according to instructions. Once you spray it on it goes to work immediately. If there's a lot of organic material on there like mine (bug guts, etc) it will start foaming almost immediately. Leave it on sort of ten to twenty minutes then rinse with lots of water. Capture the runoff in a tray if possible, and then dispose of safely, because this stuff is pretty caustic.It is made with sodium hydroxide which is the same stuff that is in old-school DRANO. I got a spot or two on my bare skin and could feel it start to burn the skin almost immediately. So: gloves, eyeglasses, face shield, all that crap. And have a hose running or sink nearby in case you need to rinse some off.The dilution ratio is pretty lean, so this means that the gallon jug will last for quite a few jobs. Store it safely out of reach of kids or pets, and I even put a supplemental warning label on the bottle, because it's colored a pleasant sort of blue and could be mistaken visually for a sports drink if the situation allowed for the confusion.
