Merrell Men's J17199w Moccasin

Great shoes comfortable and they look good. I buy them twice a year.

Pure comfort, easy on/offI'm a senior, wide feet, have high insteps, all my life usually a lot of difficulty finding shoes to fit. I tried an Asian knockoff pair before. Won't do that again. These just fit and walk so well. So worth the cost difference.

Initially I tried these on with my usual socks. They are what I considered normal thickness much like tube socks for work shoes. I did have some above the ankle socks I wear with most casual dress shoes and they are thinner and smoother. Wow, what a difference. Helped the shoe slip on easier and relieved the pressure I was feeling in my arch.Shoes seem well made, nice looking for dress or casual. Versatile and a good value especially caught on sale. Also a good firm heel with just a bit of height which I like. Could switch out insert for gel if needed later. Expect some time for break in period. Elastic is firm.

I loved my other pair of Merrell shoes purchased from Amazon (size 8), so I thought I would buy online again (naturally, size 8 again). So I was a little bit disappointed at the pair that arrived, despite being nominally the same size, was bigger than the previous pair, and too big to wear comfortably even with thick socks. Sad to return them because I hate to think them going into a landfill. Otherwise these were a beautiful, rich dark chocolate color, very well made, and might last 3 years or more even with hard wear, if my other shoes were anything to go by.

Great shoe and true to size. We had a hard time finding this particular finish at other locations and were happy to find it on Amazon. This shoe is comfortable for walking and can serve as a dress shoe.

Super comfy and they have great traction. My only complaint was they took forever to get delivered. I think it was 3 weeks.

Arrived on time, fits nicely. I was impressed (and surprised) at how well they work as slip-ons.

The most comfortable shoes I have owned in a long time!!
