Fits like a glove!
I love that it’s a simple, easy to install upgrade. It also comes with three other options of sight size and color. Wonderful and inexpensive product to personalize your firearm.

Very visible and useful for lowering point of impact
I put one of these on my Mossberg Mariner home defense shotgun. The factory bead is small and too short, causing the gun to shoot high out to about 20 yards. With the Hi Viz sight installed, the point of impact and point of aim now coincide out to at least that distance. It's also far more visible in low light. The Hi Viz sight has a small notch in the edge that you place towards the muzzle. This mates with the factory bead and prevents it from sliding forward under recoil, or being misaligned. That's said, the unit is very tight on the barrel and it's stayed in place on another shotgun I have that's missing a front bead sight.

Fits Mossberg 590 well and stays on.
Update 10/20/2013:I've had these for over a year at this point. I haven't had to adjust it at all. I shoot 1oz slugs all day long and the sights don't budge at all. Fast sighting, and it is much better than the bead sights during daylight and lowlights. The shotgun gets tossed around a lot and I sheath it a lot, but the sights haven't budged at all. I highly recommend these sights.Changed from 4 to 5 stars.Old Review:I got these in the mail and popped it onto my parkerized Mossberg 590. I cleaned and oiled the area with Breakfree CLP, wiped off the excess oil, and popped these right on.They fit tight, I get a great sight picture, and I love that I have extra light sticks just in case.I give them 4 stars for now based on reputation and fit. I'll come back and give them 5 stars if they can hold up well. Being plastic/polymer, I find myself questioning how loose these will become overtime and how much constant heat will affect it.Will it melt onto the barrel? Will it become weakened and fall off overtime? I can't answer those questions right now. Not even with a few trips to the range. I'll answer definitively after a few years of use and abuse.

Simple and Effective
If your home shotgun has a bead sight, put one of these on. It snaps right on. Easy. The sight shows up very well. It makes shooting in low light a breeze. I could not be happier. Low cost, HUGE improvements. Does it affect accuracy? Yes, you should shoot better. Cost vs benefit is lopsided in the benefit side. No requirement to do anything to the existing bead sight or barrel. The barrel stays original.

Nice, cheap easy fix
This is a nice, easy, cheap fix for a plain brass bead front sight. Put on an H&R pump (copy of an 870). I wouldn't try to slide it up the barrel - you'll scratch the hell out of it. Instead, put the entire plastic assembly in a coffee cup of really hot water (I didn't boil it), let it sit for a couple minutes to get pliable. Dry it off completely then snap it onto your barrel where you want it - right behind the bead. Quick, painless, easy.As far as function, it's a straightforward design. Once in place, you get a nice bright green (or red or yellow if you swap out the rods) dot that is infinitely easier to pick up in low light than a brass bead. I was considering other options for sights as the tiny brass bead is all but useless, but the shotty was a back up and only $180 - would I really spend $100-$150 for sights for it?! This was $14.99, with prime free shipping in 2 days on my shotgun. Win all the way around.

Not statble enoufh for a 12 ga
I purchased this for my old Remington 1100 12 GA on which the plain barrel doesn't have a vent rib. It works as described, easy snap on and fits just right. The sight is bright and big, easy to pick up outdoors. The problem is, like all other easy-to-install-and-one-size-fits-all stuff, it moves. There's no other tension to hold the sight on the smooth barrel but the plastic arc itself. During a 75-round trap shooting yesterday (all mild 2 3/4 7.5 bird shots), I fixed it for a dozen times trying to line it up with the bead. It's really disappoiting and distracting, I guess some double side tape could secure it some how but I really don't want to involve any glue.

Fit a 20 gauge plain barrel very well.
I bought this HIVIZ sight to replace a cheaper similar item I had put on my home defense 20 gauge shotgun that had slid off the end of the barrel. This barrel has no bead sight so unless the snap on sight is tight, recoil will cause it to slide. With limited firings, I have not noticed any movement and this unit is very tight even on a 20 gauge barrel. If it does slip at all, I'll take it off and reinstall with two sided tape or some kind of glue. So far, I think this is a great sight, the green color really catches the eye to get you on target.
