Transformers Generations Leader Class Thundercracker Figure

This has to be the first time I considered leaving a toy in the box. It is that awesome! No instructions for the transformation, but it isn't difficult. Very detailed and both the robot an jet forms look great. The joints are very sturdy and overall the feel is very solid. It has a front landing gear that tucks it the nose of the jet form, and the cockpit opens (my youngest fond that feature). One of the coolest toys I've ever owned and defiantly worth the price. I am actually thinking about buying a second to keep in the box.

Great toy. Tight shoulder joint in my toy causes plastic parts of shoulder to pull apart but otherwise looks great in both modes and has a satisfying transformation. Remold of Jetfire, lacks the backpack with boosters but comes with new weapons.

The bargain of the century. This figure looks awesome and is a good size. I especially love the jet mode.Pros: awesome looks, nice colors, solid joints and ratchets, tons of firepower, looks like a real bad guy, looks awesome next to Jetfire.Cons: feels a bit "hollow", which I suppose it is. The transformation is alright but the last step is a bit of a bastard; the Hasbro and manufacturing information is too visible, feet can only swivel back and forward.Don't let the cons dissuade you from buying it, though. This thing is an absolute bargain for what you get.

I've had this one for awhile now, and my son would play it with sporadically. While the figure is a very nice size and looks pretty cool, he won't stay together. The body of the figure is supposed to snap into the wings, and it will, until the arms are moved. Any bit of force pops the back off and causes the arms to disengage. I'm thinking a lot of Transformers toys are meant to pose and just look at these days. Heck, there is even a line of "exclusive" Transformers at Wallymart that don't have vehicle modes, because you're meant to....well, pose them and look at how well they match the G1 cartoon.

Thundercracker is one of the most underrated Decepticons, so I was happy to see that they released a version in the Combiner Wars series. The attention to detail is great, and he looks great both in Jet form and Decepticon mode. Hasbro released a Starscream version as well, which looks identical with some minor changes, colors, etc, but looks just as appealing. Probably great for collectors, and kids, but the transforming is a bit meticulous. Nonetheless a great addition to your Transformers collection!

This figure is a good toy but I would not pay $45.99 for it. If you can find it for less than $30, it is well worth it. I was able to catch this figure at $22 and that's the only reason why I'm giving it 5 stars. For $45 its very hollow and feels cheap but it does have all the articulation you can want out of a transforming action figure and nice colors

The childe that this is purchased for plays with for hours on end. The toy is sturdy to handle hours at a time play.

I got two of these for presents for my family members during Christmas. I paid a fraction of the cost since it was on sale for an Amazon Prime deal. My brother and cousin both loved it, especially since they grew up watching the Transformers G1 Series (they were 80's kids). My brother uses this as one of the figurines on his desk at a marketing firm over in New York and clients seem to always comment on it and try to transform it back into its airplane shape. I guess it functions as an ice breaker. Personally, I'm not the type of person to take these kind of action figures out of their boxes since I always think they may increase in value over time, but that's just me. Overall, this is a really great product and I definitely recommend that you get it to check it out! You won't be disappointed.
