Coleman RoadTrip Cast Iron Griddle Accessory, 142 Square Inch Cooking Area, Fits Coleman RoadTrip Grills, Easy to Clean

This griddle was an awesome accessory to have on our camping trip and it made it just in time! It is extremely simple to use, just switch out the grill plate for the griddle plate. So far we have used it to cook on one weekend long camping trip. On this trip it was used for bacon, eggs (scrambled and over easy), grilled cheese, potatoes, and buttered toast! Also, clean up is simple and quick, because it has a non stick surface. It is truly WONDERFUL!!!! I highly recommend purchasing this to go with your road trip grill, because it really does make for an easier trip when you are able to cook normal foods on the go! *UPDATE- My husband swears by this thing, he has decided to get another for the other side and mostly use them. He has been cooking our steaks, burgers, hotdogs, salmon, and pancakes on them since camping. He said it cooks much more evenly than the grill and cleans up easier, too. After cooking with a lot of butter or grease he just pours water on the hot griddle and scrubs it with the grill brush and it is good as new! I really like the swap top griddle. I like to make gourmet burgers and I use it to cook mushrooms, jalapenos, and onions while I do the burgers on the grill side. I heat the burger buns on this as well. Its also great for making bacon and eggs in the morning. It is very sturdy and fits my Coleman Xcursion grill perfectly. When using it seems to distribute the heat evenly which helps make cooking a breeze. I may opt for the full griddle at a later time. I would highly recommend this product if your looking to expand your grilling capabilities.

Direct fit

We used to have a Coleman Roadmaster grill with a griddle and loved it - it got lost in a move. We were given a new one but it didn’t have the griddle so purchased this. We love it. Cast iron so it’s heavy, but sturdy. Cook on either side (smooth griddle on one side and raised lines on the other). Eggs and bac-y or burgers and chops.

My old grates had some corrosion so figured it was time for a new set. Great quality and fit my Coleman grill perfectly. Good price as well.

I would have preferred a cast iron only surface, but it is easier to clean off. Just got this tonight along with the 285 and yep... steak on the grills, and eggs and bacon on the griddles. I wish I had found this grill years ago... would have saved headaches through power outages on multiple occasions and these griddles plates work excellent!!! Highly recommend these griddles and the Coleman 285.

Works great with our Road Trip grill!

In my view, you can't get the grill without it. Love it.

this Hotplate is well made with a nice thick porcelain finish. Should give me yrs of service & great taste when you need to keep all the flavors from your cooked food
