Great quality brush!
Great quality and very versatile with an amazing point for even doing very fine lines.

Nice brush. Just what I expected and needed for watercolor.
I like that I received the brush next day. Amazing! I knew it would be great to pick up excess watercolor from paper. I have a 1” brush which is a bit large for small areas of my paintings. This 1/2” brush should do the trick. I really liked that it was on sale!

good value AND quality
Amazing brushes, the only thing that rustles my jimmy's is the whole envelope bag for like a free floating brush, BUT they do have the brush guard tubes keeping the bristles nice and safe. if you want a good brush but don't wanna pay the like up to $20+ price of the serious 7 i would call this line a VERY SOLID alternative. the bristles are not hard fake feeling there's a nice smooth like medium stiffness brush. if you use them for acrylic washes the was dose appear to stain a bit but a little bush soap and warm water restores am like new.

Watercolor, meh. Gouache, yaaaaaas.
I used this brush for watercolor at first and I did not care for it. It was difficult to control how much water the brush would hold, which was incredibly annoying. However, this brush is amazing with gouache. Helps get nice sharp lines and holds a ton of paint, which is great (for my style of gouache paintings)

Nice small brush
It looks like a good fine point brush. I have another Cotman brush that I like that is finer that is good so I wanted to try other sizes. I give the brush 5 stars. The packaging was horrible. It is a wonder it made it to me in one piece. My husband opened the package and did not know it was also in the shipping bag. The blue handle was not protected at all, there was a plastic tube over the bristles so they are straight and pointed. I got it out of the shipping bag that had been put in the trash because the brush was not seen at the bottom of the lightly padded paper package. Amazon, wrap brushes in bubble wrap or put them in small boxes please.

I love these brushes!
I'm really impressed with these brushes. They're among the best synthetics that I've tried, at any price point. I'm using them exclusively to paint miniatures with acrylics, and the results have exceeded my expectations. Really great performance! They are an absolute steal at this price. They hold a good amount of paint and flow very nicely. The handle length is just perfect for me. They've very quickly become my workhorse brush, and my sables are getting used less and less. I'm really pleased and will be ordering more.

not bad quality, worth the price.

I have avoided using mop brushes as I saw them as limited, and I like visible transitions in my painting. After using this brush I have re-thought the possibilities of such a tool. This just works, wet or dry. I have more expensive mops and they don't work as consistently as this one (don't reliably distribute the paint or hardly pick it up at all). An example where the most expensive brush isn't necessarily the most practical, and at the end of the day a brush just needs to be a reliable tool like this brush.

Got my size wrong wanted a bit smaller to replace a favorite brush but I'll use it anyways. You can never have too many good brushes. It has a good bounce not limp like a squirrel hair brush, that being said it doesn't hold as much water obviously but it has a nice edge for straight work not as useful for leaves because of the curves but very good for branches.
