Perfect Grinder for Fresh, Flavorful Coffee!
The media could not be loaded. I picked up the Bodum Bistro 2.1 oz Coffee Grinder because I wanted something attractive, small, efficient, and easy to use—and it delivers! People say the blade grinder isn’t as precise as a burr grinder, but I use this in an Italian moka pot, and it works fantastic. The one-touch operation makes grinding effortless, and the compact size means it doesn’t take up much counter space. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, no-fuss grinder for fresh coffee at home, this is the best choice!

Compact, waterproof, and the motor is strong. What's not to like?
I purchased this one as a gift since I like my own so much. I have several Bodum appliances in my kitchen and like the rubberized material that they use - it has a good grip and washes easily. The Bodum feels like a premium item and feels good in my hands. I think the price is very reasonable considering the quality. Mine, which I use a few times each week, has lasted for years and still looks and works like new. Recommend!

Good product .Amazon packaging the worst.
I trust this brand and for just grinding spices is great. Amazon packaging was the worst. Shipped in a non padded envelope, product box was all crushed.

Warranty Certificate / 2-Year Guaranty
For those having difficulty finding the "warranty certificate" that Bodum tells you, "the Seller must fill in at the time of purchase", take a look at the back cover of the User Manual. That cover constitutes the WARRANTY CERTIFICATE, at least in the USA.Now, you'll have to keep a copy of your original Amazon Order by which you purchased the unit. (Not diffifult, right?) Make sure that the copy you print has the date of purchase on it and shows that you've paid for the unit by name and price. Ideally, the order will say "Shipped" at the top or something to that effect, but not "pending".Fill in the date of purchase on the back cover of the User Manual, staple the print out of the order as above, and include a letter to Bodum asking for the unit to be serviced or replaced. Explain why you believe that the unit failed due to faulty design or manufacturing of the original.Note that normal wear and tear and end-ser abuse or mishandling of the unit ARE NOT COVERED under the warranty. Neither will any unit be covered if the repair request is posted more than two years from the date of purchase. If you wish to have a RMA, you'll have to contact Bodum directly by phone or email for that. Good luck !Frankly, if your unit is more than 1 year old, toss it and buy a new one. It's not worth the trouble to have it returned and repaired, right ?

Great lil grinder
First time using a bodum grinder. I had a fancy hand crank one but got tired of the effort. Lol. This thing though is super quick and does a great job of making ultra fine coffee for my moka pot. The noise is pretty quiet. It's super easy to use. It doesn't effect how the beans taste and it seems quite durable.

Fraudulent product. Faulty wiring. Dangerous. Do not purchase.
The wiring smoked after a second use. The internal circuitry is fried; grinder broken and totally worthless. The seller will not honor a refund or return. Buyer beware. Only rated one star because 0 apparently isn’t an option.

Quick and Easy [steel]
After many beans chopped for making many brews, I've found this grinder to be very nice and its small form coupled with sleek design looks nice sat atop the counter. I chose the steel variant rather the plastic and am so happy that I did. At first, I was worried that it might be faux steel; plastic made to look like metal but was pleasantly surprised with it arrived. Any opportunity to avoid more plastic is one I'm willing to endeavour. It grinds the beans very well but my only complaint is that it can be annoying to clean as the grinding part does not separate from the unit itself, meaning that one cannot simply use water to clean the reservoir; albeit a dampened rag does the trick fine. The reservoir fits roughly 35 grammes of beans without reducing its efficacy too much. Any more and results may vary. However, this limitation is fine as I usually never exceed 21 grammes for two cups of joe and it permits the small form that the unit has.
