Fellowes Carbon Filters for AeraMax Air Purifiers - 4 Pack (9324201),Black, 16.1" x 12.4" x 0.2"

I have a Fellowes Dx95 bigger room air purifier that holds TWO filters. I noticed when I bought OFF BRAND filters they did NOT last as long NOR did they seem to catch as much FUNK in filters like the NAME BRAND seemed to. Ok, so you'll pay a lil more but IT IS worth the extra few dollars to remove whatever gunk may or may not be floating in my air at home. Does that make sense?

At a price of about $36 at the time of this writing, these carbon filters for the Aeramax 300 Air Purifier are not cheap -- but then, you do get a pack of 4 for the money -- $8 each. (UPDATE 1.5 yrs later -- now only $15 a set, with Prime shipping -- less than 4-bucks each. I like that!) This is for the  AeraMax 300 Air Purifier with Large Room Allergy and Asthma 4-Stage Purification , which, unfortunately, is now only available from 3rd party sellers on Amazon. I'm back to order more filters -- both hepa and the carbon filters that have to be changed more often. My wife has serious allergies, so we run it in the bedroom all night, and it makes a BIG difference in her ability to breathe. Back when these filters were more expensive, I tried to find a cheaper substitute for the carbon ones. You can buy sheets of material at Home Depot and cut your own. However, my price comparison shows that these, custom cut to size, are better from the original company.The AeraMax 300 is a good air scrubber with true hepa filtration, as well as the benefit of these carbon filters. We're now making sure we have a supply of both hepa, which we change each year, and the carbon pack, which we replace every 3 months.There are lights on the front panel of the machine that remind you when a change is due. They're on a timer in fact, so you may want to look at your filters and change them even more often when they look dusty and dirty. Just changed ours -- yeeechh!You need clean filters. Your unit won't do anything but blow dusty air if you don't have the filters inRecommended.

Ridiculous high price

Filter is fine, for what it is. I wish there was a way to wash/clean them. My neighbors make me have to use the air purifier 24/7, so they need to be replaced more frequently than I’d like. As a side note, whoever shipped my filter packs the last couple of time I ordered didn’t bother to tape the boxes closed. They arrive OPEN at both ends. Even after I ask them to put it in Amazon packaging. This time around, seller just shipped the box as-is and it arrived opened at both ends. Wtf. No tape. No nothing to secure the box.

We have two rescued dogs and have to kennel one when we go to work (she loves her space and feels safe there). The kennel is in the corner of our bedroom and our room was starting to smell a bit like dog. I purchased an air purifier and it has worked wonders. I use these replacement carbon filters every three months and change the main filter when the machine alerts me. Our bedroom has no smell to it anymore and smells clean.

Good Product for Air Purifier

Fit the Aeromax 300 perfectly. Have to add this. I have had this air cleaner going on 3 years. Never changed the filter. I kept waiting for the light to come on. Never did. A few times I checked the HEPA filter and it was very clean. Finally, I checked the carbon filter. Completely clogged. That’s why the HEPA was so clean. No dirt ever reached it. It was basically functioning as a fan. Pleasant breeze.Surprised the air cleaner didn’t break. A good air cleaner, but the filter lights don’t work.

The media could not be loaded.  I can’t believe how much dust came out of the last one. I forgot to order these and didn’t replace for a few months. AeraMax really does its job!!!!
