From the makers of legendary Liv. 52n
This is a wonderful liver health supplement: you take two a day and it really helps your overall liver health. The panels show it all you have to be consistent though with any of these things. Of course I add in other liver support supplements but these are very good to feel good and to help ensure you liver is operating properly and detoxing as it needs to. Himalaya who makes this liver care used to make a very popular / legendary liver health supplement called Liv. 52 which was an encapsulated form similar to these but not as potent / freshly encapsulated as their liver health . Even liv. 52 worked wonders though . These are worth the cost of admission and take them before you eat breakfast and dinner. If liver health is something you are needing to boost or protect add this supplement with TUDCA…I highly recommend TUDCA for liver health as well…take approximately 1,000 mg in the AM of TUDCA and also NAC before your breakfast. Make sure to take the NAC empty stomach plenty of water in the am at least 20 mins before you have breakfast it really doesn’t absorb well on a full stomach. Molybdenum taken with NAC ensures you get the most too out of NAC supplementation which also helps your kidneys not just your liver..I take my third NAC emptier stomach before dinner same process (NAC boosts cellular glutathione levels, the most potent antioxidant we have that’s Also mainly in the liver). I also add Milk thistle extract from Jarrow 3x a day with meals. Milk thistle extract contains flavonoids of the “Silymarin” family which boost glutathione levels in your liver aiding in liver function. You only have one liver and my supplementation of these things has given me a proactive advantage to taking other “supplements” glutathione and liver health along with kidneys are absolutely crucial. Stay healthy and don’t think twice about this product just buy it if you’re on the fence it’s worth the value and health benefits no questions. Again, this stuff isn’t snake oil a doctor who tells you there is nothing you can do to boost your liver health has absolutely no idea what they’re talking about. I kid you not people need to be careful before they just take a doctors word for something and do their own research. That’s simply not the case and to be quite frank with you shows how ignorant “some” of them can be in some areas.. ie bored gp’s just reading off fda/cdc notes on a clip board unwilling to learn new things, unwilling to really listen to their patients and have an open mind when it comes to effective treatments outside their fda approved little box . The proof is in the blood panels. Oh and one more thing if you really need to add a nuclear submarine launched ballistic missile into your liv fix arsenal to know for sure your liver issues will be a dead issue of the past.. add in Glutathione (intramuscularly) - 600 mg per day. 3 ml’s of glutathione 200 daily which is what pharma grade glutathione dosage runs @ 200mg/ml Go to “research chemical” companies to find it. Refrigerate upon receiving and during use. Kiss liver issues goodbye too and quickly.

Absolutely Works, Lowered Both AST & ALT Enzymes!
With the above average experience that comes from a many year odyssey in our American medical system (Ignore Ketama, as that's only my Summer residence!) and being treated by those mostly dim witted personel in that profession, and their litany of mistakes and just plain stupid screw ups, I finally picked up Hep C. Not only was I bitter over this, but it was preventing me from continuing the ongoing treatment I was going for to begin with, because of the elevated liver enzymes my blood tests revealed, I couldn't continue my regular medications! This continued for several months, with the levels only dropping a few points every couple of months, with some dietary improvement changes. Then, they wanted me to seek out this & that specialist when I decided to see what I could try on my own first, when I ran across LIV.52, and looked into some studies on that, and more importantly, what users were saying about it. Satisfied it was worth trying, I picked up some shortly before an upcoming blood test--VERY shortly. In fact, I had 17 days until my next test,by the time I received it, and did not expect any results that soon, and figured it would take until the next test around 30 days later, if no improvements were made. I started by taking 2 caps a day, as directed, for 7 days to see if I tolerated it okay, and that was fine, so I went up to 3 caps a day, for the 10 days prior to the test. (I read where others with elevated enzymes usually took 4 caps a day, since 2 caps is really just meant as a preventative dose for those that want to maintain a normal, toxic free liver, and don't have any elevated enzyme counts to begin with, and a disease free liver.) As I said, over several months my enzyme counts dropped a few points with each consecutive blood test, yet were still VERY high on the previous test, done on 2/2/09, with an AST level of 127 (Normal range is 14 to 48), and an ALT level of 150 (Normal range is 7 to 58), so you can see they were quite high. After 2 caps per day of LIV.52, for 7 days, then, 3 caps for 10 days, I had my blood pulled on 4/6/09, about 2 months after the previous test, and my AST level was 74, and my ALT level was 90, still higher than normal, but a vast improvement as you can see. There is NOTHING else to attribute this to but the LIV.52, so I'm a believer. Now, I'm back on my regular treatment path, and my next blood test won't be for 5 months, and I'll continue on the LIV.52, and I'll try to remember to update this with those results, which I hope and expect will be much better still, and quite possibly within the normal range. This was all my doing, and the bottom line is that you can ONLY count on yourself for what's right for you. Don't get me wrong, as a whole, the medical profession has made great strides, and there are some personel doing great things, but any 'discoveries' are huge team efforts usually, after years of research and millions or billions of dollars spent, and the great doctors & surgeons you hear of are few and far between, leaving most no more competent than your average moron, or worse. Still don't believe me? Well, believe this: The forth leading cause of death in the United States is from medical mistakes. Yes, you heard it right, look it up, then, say they aren't "morons"! I believe the last count has it at 249 people a day, dead from medical "MISTAKES", think about it, then, take care of yourself, you'll live longer. And, if you have high liver enzymes, LIV.52 works, it's not one of the many worthless herbal preps out there. Plus, it's pretty cheap, and through Amazon, I got it pretty fast too, just about a week I think. Good Luck & Health!

My liver swells without it. RATES 6 STARS!
I have been healthy all my life. Then I had a terrible virus that attacked my liver 5 years ago. I lived with the constant pain and discomfort of a swelling liver. It would be set off by eating more than a bite of meat, eating beans, some kinds of cereal, etc. My liver enzymes were constantly high. My doctors insisted that there was nothing that could help. My husband was sure that they were wrong. He researched extensively (and this was totally out of character for him!) and found liv.52 (LiverCare). I was skeptical because of what my doctors had told me. He ordered it anyway. Within a week of taking the LiverCare, my liver stopped swelling. The next time I was tested my liver enzymes had returned to normal. After running out, I stopped using it for a while and the problems quickly returned. There have been over 200 studies done on Liv.52/LiverCare around the world. One study was with starving children who were rescued and being brought back from the brink of death. Their huge bellies were from swollen internal organs, particularly the liver. Liv.52 (the international version of LiverCare) worked better and faster to heal their livers than anything else they tried. It is called Liv.52 because Himalaya tried 51 other formulations before they developed this one. Liv.52 is prescribed by Swiss doctors to treat liver problems of all kinds. This is an amazing product!

Lowered AST/ALT enzymes. Excelled my expectations.
Before I get into my review of "LiverCare" I want to give you all a brief explanation as to why I started taking this product. On July 2, 2013 I paid my doctor a visit for my annual physical check up. They took a blood and urine sample along with my consultation. An hour later (yes, the dreadful wait) my lab results came in and the results where not what I was expecting. Mind you that I came with the expectation that everything was fine and that this was simply a precaution. Well, I was wrong. My urine samples were fine as well as my thyroid, metabolic, and lipid markers, however, my liver enzymes were through the roof. My AST and ALT liver enzymes in particular were way above the norm. My liver numbers on July 2, 2013 were as followed: Hepatic Function - Reference Range _______________ _____________ Total Protein: 7.5 g/dL | 6.4 - 8.2 Albumin: 4.2 g/dL | 3.4 - 5.0 AST: 158 U/L | 15 - 37 ALT: 363 U/L | 30 - 65 Alk Phos: 77 U/L | 50 - 136 TBI: 0.3 mg/dL | 0.0 - 1.0 DBI: 0.1 mg/dL | 0.0 - 0.3 GGT: 37 U/L | 5 - 85 LDI: 276 U/L | 100 - 190 ______________________________________________________ After seeing these numbers the doctor advised me to avoid alcohol and tylenol (acetaminophen) at all cost and to also stop taking any supplements (vitamins) that I might be taking. That very same day I went and got myself a bottle of Milk Thistle at Walgreens and started taking that. Two days later I came across LiverCare on Amazon and based on the reviews it had I decided to give it a try. For about a month I took 2 capsules of LiverCare along with 3 capsules of milk thistle (350mg each) every day. I also significantly increased my water intake in an effort to assist my body in flushing out harmful toxins and started taking Metamucil 3 times daily for regular GI health. I continued this ritual daily and today August 5, 2013 I got my new lab results back. In a little over a month my liver enzymes are back to normal. When I saw the results I was pretty excited. My doctor was very surprised to see them back down so soon. He even asked me what I did and of course I mentioned livercare haha. Anyway, here are my numbers as of today August 5, 2013: Hepatic Function Reference Range _______________ _____________ Total Protein: 7.4 g/dL | 6.4 - 8.2 Albumin: 4.3 g/dL | 3.4 - 5.0 AST: 26 U/L | 15 - 37 ALT: 55 U/L | 30 - 65 Alk Phos: 75 U/L | 50 - 136 TBI: 0.6 mg/dL | 0.0 - 1.0 DBI: 0.1 mg/dL | 0.0 - 0.3 GGT: 30 U/L | 5 - 85 LDI: 177 U/L | 100 - 190 __________________________________________________ As you can see all of my liver markers are in check. I will continue using this product religiously along with Milk Thistle and I suggest you do the same if you have similar problems such as me. Of course I might add a disclaimer and say that my situation might have been caused by something different than yours so don't always expect similar results. As always do ask your doctor before starting on any new supplement. I am simply a consumer and by no means a medical professional. Hope this review helps!

One VERY Important Thing
Explained here, one thing to remember about this packaging & other packaging from health companies… I called Himalaya, (explained in my own understanding), their product labeling as Non GMO Verified meaning Not Genetically Modified & Plants called Organic plants are regulated by the Government. HOWEVER, it’s important to remember, the plants not labeled as Organic, are sprayed with Pesticides the same as the Grocery stores sell in that theses plants, not Organic, are being poisoned, the soil & the soil is being heavily poisoned by continual Pesticide spraying on theses new crops. This means we are buying Chemicals grown into the plants, taken up by the leaves and the heavily contaminated soil from this company & others. Himalaya has many. There are 6 Non Organic in this Livercare Formula & many other Non Organic Plants in their other Products. This company or any company could sell Only Organic, instead they choose not to disclose the details they expect us to know & understand, so they can make more Big $$$ . This is against my moral values. They are doing the same practice as the grocery stores are by selling poison pesticide made to kill healthy & harmful bugs. This severely damages our Gut lining & gut good bacteria’s. I believe they also use weed killers on their soil in or separate from the pesticide spray, not disclosed. The Himalaya man did say it the first time, & did not tell me pesticides were included in their products when I went over for the 2nd time what he said. I missed that important fact because I was in disbelief that I was buying chemical pesticides from a great company I trusted. He did NOT correct me & that was what I was asking him to do, help me understand. I believe he did know & did not want to say it again for obvious reasons. I noticed when I told him I had a Labeling question regarding the plants, he was feeling uncomfortable explaining it. I was not happy with him when I hung up. I will no longer buy Himalaya Products. Never. I will only be buying total organic ingredients from other natural foods companies from now on. I will never buy herbs & plants that do not say organic on their Labeling. Please, health conscious person, reading this, join me & others to stop these companies from non disclosure practices just because of greed. These Companies are supposed to be helping us become more healthy. They are not True Believer's in our health. They are Believers in Profits.
