Not really a thumb grip kind of guy, but this one works great!
At first, I thought, who needs a thumb grip for a camera this small, all it will do is get in the way of the camera's good ergonomics. I wear large-Xlarge gloves, but I find the GR IIIx grip pretty comfortable. But I decided to try it anyway, and it really has made a good difference. It is sooo much easier to hold the camera one-handed with the thumb grip. And since I am often hanging the camera off a ledge or outside a car window or something, I feel much more secure with the thumb grip installed. Now, it is true it takes up the hot shoe, but I don't use the flash for this camera all that often because it doesn't really fit in my pocket with the camera. It is also designed well away from the controls (see pictures) so it doesn't get in the way when I make adjustments. The fit in the hotshoe is quite secure as well, I never have to worry about it. Once you put it on, it will feel like a native part of the camera. Can't ask for a better 3rd-party accessory than that!

Fits perfectly without adding bulk
Provides much better handling for my Ricoh GR III. The metal construction is solid, and it fits perfectly without adding bulk. Highly recommended for street photographers.

Good little gadget
Not too bad. If you got big fingers, the on/off button might be hard to press.

Perfect Fit and Improved Grip
Fits the Ricoh GR III perfectly and significantly improves grip and handling. The metal build feels solid and well-made, and it doesn’t interfere with buttons or dials. Easy to install and makes one-handed shooting much more comfortable.

Just OK
I found the grip less comfortable than holding the camera without it and it make reaching some control a bit more difficult.

It goes in the hotshoe like it was meant to be there. Very sturdy, and gives the camera very nice grip. Highly recommended.

The thumb rest fits tightly into my GR3 with zero wobble. Feels very sturdy when used. The thumb rest did not block the power button for me, but I can see this being an issue if you had a massive index finger.

it is fitted great in the hot shoe, not too loose or tight, easily can be taken out if you need to use flash. comfortable to handle. One neg point: this camera is great and comfortable to be used by one hand, while the JJC thumb rest help me not to accidently hitting other buttons during the use, actually the main reason to buy this, turning on/off camera won't be an easy task and I usually end up using the other hand or look at the cam to turn it on/off! I have used another Chinese brand from AliExpress that where the thumb rests were not as wide as JJC's but I didn't have any problem to reach the on/off button, the problem I had with that one, I had to use a screwdriver to push it out of hot shoe since I couldn't simply pull it out by hand. In the pictures You can see both

Not as useful as I thought. Nothing wrong with the product other than it has some sharp corners and it makes the camera difficult to put in a pocket, purse or pouch. The original thumbrest on my GRIIIx is more comfortable. Ended up taking it back off (as did a lot of YouTubers).
