After having a thermostat fail on a aquarium heater which resulted in lots of dead fish, I needed to find a solution to shut off the power if the thermostat ever fails again. This controller is cheap insurance to protect your tank. I picked the 12V powered unit to add extra safety. 3D print a box to protect the input output mains voltages.

Its only Celsius, I thought it was farenheit but no big deal, I can figure that out.What I dont like us needing a jumper off the power to control the heat/ cool relays. Seems really pointless, but its cheap so I guess that is where the savings are for the manufacturer. Programming isnt too difficult, could be better, took me a minute to figure out we set the temp for cool and than the heat relay kicks in when the cool parameters have been met if that makes sense.. maybe I didnt figure it out but there is only 1 temp setting and both relays work off that. Ideally I'd like to have seen a temp setting for both. I'm only using it for cooling so it doesnt matter.. I dont think I would buy again, I would try another controller.

Bought it to replace my inkbird that fried. It has the same size so it fits in my box. The only difference is that it is a little harder to set. You have to press two buttons at a time to set the temperature. But beside that it works fine.

I got this back in February and installed it a couple months later. Worked fine for 6 months, but then I noticed my fan wasn't coming on anymore. Tested the system and the fan was fine but the controller was no longer closing the circuit when the target "on" temp was reached. What a waste -- will look for a higher quality replacement.

Great value for the task, easy to setup with the exception of the instructions, "manual" that came with the unit where not clear, had to do a web search for the instructions.

I bought one and it would cut off when adjusting above 15C. There is a reason as to why this is so cheap. I can't recommend this.

Temperatures controller was bigger than I expected

Gave ERR and then it was impossible to figure out what was wrong. I only had the power and temperature probe connected, and power was fine.

After trying 3 or 4 little units, I settled on this one to monitor fridge temperature in my campervan conversion, pinging the trigger to a relay which allows the inverter to kick on. Keep power usage down as the inverter only triggers when required.Works great.All the others had issues as they were cheaply made. This is very solid. And quite programmable.I coupled with a 12v timer so I could have the fridge not run overnight. Again, no issues even with a convoluted little series like that.The only one worth buying in my experience.

Ich habe mir den Temperaturregler als Steuereinheit für mein Lüftersystem am Kamin des Kühlschranks am Wohnmobil geholt.Bisher hatte ich günstige Steuereinheiten aus China. Die haben maximal ein Jahr gehalten und sind dann ausgestiegen. Jeder der ein Campingfahrzeug mit Absorberkühlschrank hat, weiss das es bei hohen Außentemperaturen auch mal etwas wärmer im Kühlschrank werden kann. Um dieses Problem zu lösen gibt es separate Lüfter für den Kaminabzug.Die fertigen Lösungen haben keine Temperatursteuerung. Lediglich manuell zuschaltbar. Das geht auf dauer auf den Akku.Mit einer Temperatursteuerung sind die Lüfter nur bei höheren Temperaturen im Kamin aktiv.Ich habe als Schaltpunkt 45C gewählt.Ab dieser Temperatur sind die Ablüfter aktiv.Ich werde nun das Gerät beobachten und schauen ob es etwas länger als seine kleinen chinesischen Geschwister hält!Letztendlich ist das Gerät auch bloss aus China!Das einzige Manko ist die mangelhafte Beschreibung!Es ist nicht erkennbar wir das Setup für die Temperaturbereiche und Hysterese einstellbar sind.Wenn man den Typ über google sucht, findet man auch eine brauchbare Bedienungsanleitung incl. aller Einstellmöglichkeiten.Die Heizfunktion über das zweite Relais ist nicht separat einstellbar, sondern funktioniert nur in einen einstellbaren Temperaturbereich abhängig vom ersten Relais zum Kühlen.Da das zweite Relais im kühleren Bereich angezogen war, habe ich kurzerhand das Relais ausgelötet.Um eine externe Verdrahterei zu vermeiden, habe ich die Platine etwas abgeändert und mit isolierten Brücken den Anschluss so belegt, das im Kühlvorgang nicht ein potentialfreier Kontakt schaltet, sondern der eine Kontakt dauerhaft Minus und der andere Kontakt den geschalteten Plus führt. Somit ist ein direkter Anschluss des Lüfters an den Kontakten möglich und vereinfacht.Die zweite Klemmleiste (zum heizen) habe ich ausgelötet, weil sie bei mir nicht benötigt wird.Falls jemand fachlich begabt ist und das gleiche vor haben sollte, dann bitte beachten das die Leiterkarte am Relais sowohl oberhalt als auch unterhalb mit Leitern versehen ist.Somit muss das Relais einmal ausgelötet werden und die Leiterbahn beidseitig unterbrochen werden.Vielleicht ist das für den Laien zuviel Fachchinesich?!Auf jeden Fall läuft es soweit wie erwartet!Sollte das Gerät seinen Dienst verabschieden, werde ich das hiert posten.Ein Bild des Installationsortes ist angefügt.Der Temperaturfühler (PT100) ist verlängert worden und befindet sich an den Lüftern, oben am Kaminausgang.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this for my back boiler circulation pump on my narrow boat to stop the pump running continously and cooling the calorifier when the fire had gone out.It works very well set at 60c it trips on at 70c then off again at 60c then when the fire goes out it stays off when the water temp is below 60c.Awsome bit of kit for not alot of money!Keep up the good work guys they are very useful for many many applications.I have shown the set up in the photographs but wiring is not tidied up yet due to testing and finding the best place to fix probe.
