Basic scanner works fine on our retail store PC.
Our old scanner bit the dust when it's cord got pulled a little too hard and we needed another unit pronto. We saw this basic unit that included this stand and decided to just take a leap of faith. Everything seem to work out just fine and we're back up and running. Having the hands-free stand is actually a greater advantage then we initially anticipated. Being able to manipulate the item in front of the scanner is a real time saver versus before we have to orient both with two hands. Otherwise no complaints, it's a barcode scanner there's tons of them out there these days, this one served our purposes just fine.
