Convertible Top Lift Cylinder Ram (1 Set 2 Cylinders) 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 Chrysler Sebring

I used this product for my 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertible. I brought my car to the dealership and they wanted 7000 for the parts not including labor. So I then decided to give Amazon a shot at 300$ for the cylinders. So far I have had the cylinders installed about a month now and have had no major problems. ** I do want to note that they are much slower then stock cylinders ** but they get the job done. I replaced them my self and it really was not a very hard job. The only big thing I have against them is when I am using it and pressing the button, they will just suddenly stop. I then have to press in the opposite direction and then back to the way I was going and it works the rest of the way. I’ve been looking online to see if it was something I did and I think it may be just bubbles in the system and I just didn’t air it out correctly. But so far they have got the job done.

The circumference of the cylinder is a bit more than the original cylinders that came with the vehicle, but it has no bearing on installation there’s more than enough room and ask for more fluid use pressure is pressures gonna do what it’s designed to do. So far they work 100%, well I’ve only had to install the one so far because the other one was still good but if the other one is just as good as the one I installed and I expect it would be I’m already at happy camper!

Easy to fit with plenty of room, but they do take a lot more hydraulic oil to fill. I had to use the original snap washers in the top fitting as the new units came with half washers and I improvised to replace the foam washers. Overall very pleased with the pistons.

The media could not be loaded.  I think the video speaks for itself!!! Helps it go down then up!

Great replacement for convertible top. Great upgrade for underenginered original ones!!!

Well made and sturdy, a little larger than original, but had plenty of room to install with no problem. Installation of two uses about twice as much fluid as original. Worked as it should, and is quieter than original.

These Lift cylinders sold for $239, compared to $3,000 from a Chrysler dealer. They are US manufactured and guaranteed for 5 yrs. They work fine. How do you find a better deal than that?
