Very good and strong I'm still having...very practical at the time to move the bed

I bought this bed frame for a new mattress that I recently purchased. I will be buying a new bedroom suit in about a year so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a temporary frame. My two big concerns were (1) I didn't want a frame that would squeak or rattle when I moved, and (2) I didn't want a frame that would shake when I moved in the bed. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to purchase this one. I bought the one for king size beds. It arrived neatly packaged. The box was heavy but manageable. The contents were in good shape. Assembly was very straightforward. If you have even basic skills at assembling things, you shouldn't have any issues. I am please to say the frame exceeded my expectations. There is no noise when I move and the frame is rock solid. I would recommend this frame to anyone looking for a good solid bed frame.

My husband and I are both bigger people and we got this bed and it holds us very well. It's very sturdy and strong and went together pretty easily. The headboard and footboard mounting spots are a little wider than our king size bed frame was, we had a sleigh bed frame, and so we were unable to mount are headboard and footboard it. With our mattress and backs Box Springs it makes it a pretty tall bed, I am almost 6' and this comes to just above my waist. We did use someone else's advice and put swimming pool noodles around the legs, so you don't stub your toe, but a bed skirting just covers that up. Over all a great bed with lots of Room underneath to store stuff and very sturdy.

This thing is sturdy AF. I had one problem with one of the slat props - but a pair of pliers fixed that. After laying down all the pieces, and examining them - other than a few screw references, I bypassed the instructions - to use a process of elimination. When you look at everything, you can basically figure out where it all fits so assembly was relatively easy - time consuming only because mine was such a large piece (king sized). It's VERY study. I have no fear the frame will collapse on my cats hiding under the bed. Got up in the middle of the night and the bed didn't even vibrate. My partner was completely undisturbed. It's really nice, quiet and unmovable.

**UPDATE** This frame has become pretty noisy after about 8 months of use. Getting in and out of the bed without making a loud squeak is impossible. Spousal fun time has become a squeak-fest. Tried to tighten all the bolts, but that didn't help. So I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to eliminate, or at least reduce, all the squeaking. Will try WD40 on the joints next.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Really love this frame so far. It was easy to put together by myself. The bed frame makes zero noise as we get in and out of bed. Also noiseless when shifting around when sleeping. Haven't had a chance to test this frame out for noises during spousal fun times, but will report back soon about that... well, hopefully soon. ;)I included pictures of the instructions since there's a decent amount of reviewers talking about them being a bit vague. I didn't have a hard time following the provided instructions, but I do think they could have put a little more effort into them. Some of the pictures are a little too dark. Also included a photo of the included hardware. Was surprised to find a pair of gloves.We haven't had an issue with hitting the middle legs with our feet so far. Love the height of this frame. Makes getting out of bed much easier on my joints. Very happy with our purchase so far.

We ordered the king. Assembly is straight forward. Its big so help is not a bad idea. The bolts are thick and well formed. Nuts have lock washers. Welds all looked good. I had to add a wooden platform because of the mattress that I ordered. We knew that when we purchased it. We got a Cocoon by Sealy. I added felt pads on the legs for our wood floor. Feels super sturdy and does not squeak. It was shipped in a plastic corrugated box. Its heavy and the box took a beating. But it was packed well. Fully intact with all the parts, tools and instructions.

I read a few reviews that implied that the piece would be difficult to assemble, or even put together wrong or missing parts. I didn't have the luck that others unfortunately had. Mine arrived quickly and only took me about an hour to put together, I could have had it in less if I was working with someone, but I ignored the instructions and tried to "man" it by myself. The part most people are complaining about it the amount of the frame that sticks out at the head and foot of the bed when you place your mattress on it. This I believe is so you can have a headboard attachment added. I just put a couple of pillows in the gap and it was fine, and later I may get the headboard, so I have no issue with the gap. Due to having a plastic vinal flooring, I put some rubber on the feet (It already had some non-slip but I wanted to be sure) and placed it down. It has been in the same place since then and I have bumped it and even kicked it. It will not move now, and it makes little to no noise at all. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this bed frame for a Sleep Number king size bed. The only minor cons are the quality of the tools provided. Use a 10mm and 13mm box wrench if you want to make things easier. Also use a top quality 4mm Allen-head wrench as the supplied wrench could damage the hardware. Hardware is top quality. Instructions are marginal, but this frame is so well engineered that it is fairly obvious how it all goes together!. From the time I emptied the box, I had this frame up and all hardware tightened in 45minutes. It took another 20 minutes to measure and cut two sheets of 4x8x1/4 oak plywood to fit the frame and sit on top of the metal slats. Frame is realitively light weight due to the hollow metal tubing; but it is extremely stiff and strong. This was a fantastic buy and a great base for a Sleep Number Mattress that requires a solid base. I am extremely pleased
