I needed wall anchors I could depend on to mount grab bars around the house for my wife, who has a mobility impairment. The anchors that came with the bars are cheap plastic and break during installation.I am over 200 lbs and can pull on the bars using these anchors without them yielding. I recommend considering these if you want anchors you can depend on.

All went as expected

This only enlarged the hole, and did not grip the drywall well. It actually tore up the wall, instead of gripping as it should, so now I am patching a wall and repainting.

I was all ready to install a wall ornament after getting these today. So I drilled a pilot hole, inserted the anchor and proceeded to turn the screw to fasten the anchor to the wall before backing the screw back out. Unfortunately for me, the part head of the anchor just started bending badly until it was almost severed from the body of the anchor. Tried again and drilled another hole to try again, and the same thing happened. I have used this type of anchor before, but these are total junk and I don't know how they can sell such junk. I am returning this set, and going to the store to look for some that actually works. These are pathetic.

Bought this after some poor quality work performed by a not so good contractor in my new bathroom. Thin dry wall was used and could not get the towel and clothes racks to stay...wall plugs didn't have enough support so the racks kept coming loose. Once I found these I purchased and installed very easily.

Arrived on time and in good condition. Very sturdy product. Easy to install as expected. Would not hesitiate to purchase again if needed.

I'm excited to find metal wall anchors. It seems that only nylon is available for the most part. These wall anchors work well, but it is easy to overscrew the anchor. In other anchors, I'm use to tightening them until I see it start to bite into the exterior drywall, then I know it is in fully. On 1 in 4 these anchors, the inside of the anchor can strip out if you secure it to that point. It will still hold the screw, but you'll have about a 1/8" gap that you can't tighten past, so you'll have some wobble. If that is not important to you, these are absolutely great! First time I use these ancor. 1) the anchor and the screw made by very soft metal. 2)the screw crook easy. 3) I use my setting tool to pull the screw, part of the thread broke off and stuck onto the screw which disable the screw turning. So it is a bad quality in terms of design & material. Please don't buy.
