A modern, laid-back fit. Roomy feel, but not baggy.

569 in name only NOT 569 fit or quality! >>>BUYER BEWARE<<<
If you are like me, and have rocked the 569 jean for 15 plus years or more, and want to replace your worn out 569's with the exact same style and fit that you have come to know, love, and rely upon for years, then these are NOT the jeans for you. They are way tighter and not loose or straight legged at all and are especially tight and form fitting in the seat and thighs. The material is much thinner and they sit much lower below your waist. Levis has completely changed the look an feel of 569. These fit almost exactly like the 559's, they might as well be 559's because they're definitely not the same 569 cut I've been wearing for the better part of decade and a half.

What the heck happened to Levi's?
These jeans are not your father's Levi's. The fit is still good, in my opinion, but the quality has taken a cliff dive. I have purchased 6 pairs of these in the last 2 years. All 6 pairs have had one or two belt loops break. I've shown this in the pictures but it's hard to see. It's hard to wear a tucked in shirt when you have 2 torn belt loops in the back, not to mention the way your belt rides up because there were only 5 belt loops to start with. The material is definitely not as heavy duty as it used to be. I felt I had to give a star each for fit and comfort, but the quality of these relative to what it used to be is atrocious.

and everything lines up great except that at least an inch of material has ...
LEVI's 569s are no longer 'Loose fit'! They are Skinny Jeans with a little extra room in the ankles! These things now hug your thighs! I attached a picture with an older pair of 569s lined up exactly, andeverything lines up great except that at least an inch of material has been removed from the inner thigh area! The jeans look nice, I want to wear them, and I've worn LEVI's since I was a child, but I refuse to have a skinny jean induced vasectomy! LEVI's were the 'Originals', yet now they seem to be more concerned withchasing down trends! Old trends at that; what is up with making even your 'Loose' Jeans into SKINNY JEANS?!?So disappointed!

Perfect. Good alternative to the “SilverTab” version.
Ever since Levi’s stopped making the Silvertabs, which I loved and were the only jeans I wore, I had a hard time finding a comparable pair until I found these. These fit great, not too tight or too baggy. These are the only style I wear now from Levi’s.I did find another alternative to the Silvertabs, which is the “Silver” brand. They fit very great and I love the feel and look. Only problem is they’re cost, they’re around $100 minimum a pair. I just can’t see spending that much all the time. So I went “all out” and bought 3 pairs in different colors. Just hope I never damage them. LolBut these Levi’s are great and fit well and look great. Definitely like this style.

Ripped after a month
Ordered these jeans back in January 2019, and it took two tries to get an appropriately fitting pair in the size ordered. No biggie, it happens - you sometimes have to try on a few even at the department stores before finding the right ones. Biggest problem with these is they ripped after a month along one of the rear pocket seams, and it appears (at least on quick review of this site before heading to a client's office) that I dont have an option to return them because I'm a week past the 30 day purchase mark. A bit disappointed considering they only got worn 3 times in the last 5 weeks.

At lest one size too small. Buy in person.
One star because they are not the size they say they are. I don't know how else to say it. I cant say enough good things about Levi jeans in general, but do not buy these on amazon. Go pick up in store.I wear a 569 31x32. I have worn that size for about the last seven years. They are a pain to find. I typically have to go to multiple stores or to the outlet to find a pair, and buy a new pair once every year or two. They're great jeans. So I get the bright idea to buy them on Amazon. I was happy to be able to select my size and get them on my doorstep in the usual two days.I knew something was wrong immediately when I put them on, but I didn't trust myself. I assumed they would relax after a few washes. Wrong. They're about an inch short and feel like they're one or two sizes too tight.Purchased a pair of 569 31x32s from a store in person and boom, they fit like always. So I don't know if these are incorrectly labeled, or rip offs, or what, but the pair I bought will be donated to a smaller person. Waste of 30 bucks.

Ripped Jeans on seam due to poor quality cotton and washing techniques
The jeans were great for the first two uses, then I leaned over to tie my daughters shoes and rip they did, right on the left seam of the right rear butt pocket. It is obviously a flaw due to the way the jeans are washed, and the weave of the cotton. Having worked for a very large and well known international jean manufacturer and retailer for many years, I do know my jeans and the cotton process. This tear occurred due to the lower quality of cotton, the poor weave and the wash the jeans had. I consistently see a wide variety of cotton and thickness use, that varies by which country of origin the jeans come from. Usually Mexico and sometimes Guatemala have the best quality jeans that last the longest, versus Bangladesh or one of the other Indonesian countries. I would sincerely like Levi's to do me right and change the jeans at no cost to me. I only wear Levi's 569, and have for more than more or less 20 years. Loyalty is not a question, continued support of an ever lowering standard of quality is getting harder to do. @levis, @levijeans

KNOCK-0FFS!
I received a knock-off... so minus another star! I bought the black 569's for my brother who was going on trip. Upon his return, he laundered them. To our chagrin, the jeans came out the wash completely discolored. We've worn Levi's all our lives so we knew that a real Levi's would not fade after one wash, further more upon further inspecting the jeans we found many other signs that these jeans were a knock-off. I've included pictures for your review and comments. The follwing link will help you spot them. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2GkYDAOxJjc

Alas, 569 Loose Striaght [sic] Day Run Jean, we hardly knew ye.
So, it seems that Levi's has decided to discontinue their Silvertab and loose fitting lines, and now sell only slim-fitting 501s, slim-fitting drainpipes, and slim-fitting slimfits. If you need trousers that don't strangle your calves, pinch your undercarriage, or make your thighs look like poorly-preserved saveloys, you might want to consider Lee, Wrangler, or some crazy-expensive "selvage denim" or something. Levi's doesn't want their skinny young product on your thick, meaty, unstylish legs anymore. So, yeah, these jeans fit great. I kind of wonder if they're knock-offs, though. The denim feels a little thin, the colour is nice but not like anything else Levi's carries, and the spelling is kind of wrong. Still, they fit pretty good, even if I can never buy Levi's again.*sob*. Good-bye, youth. Hello, middle-aged dad-jeans.

Thinner Denim
I only wear Levis 569 because they fit me so well,I have about 4 pairs all very good at about £65 not bad value.I have just purchased another pair in the staright day run jean BLUE nearly BLACK what a difference the material is very thin and the colour is neither Blue nor Black, somwhere inbetween, fit is good as with all 569s, but the quality was poor,I immediately sent them back for a refund.Heres a tip stick to the blues as for whatever reason, this blue nearly black is nowhere near the same quality.

The quality was good
The quality was as expected from Levi jeans but they were a large fit around the waist.
