NOW Foods Inulin (Certified Organic) - 8 oz (Pack of 3)

I love this. I have taken fiber for much of my life and this is the easiest to do. I usually add a rounded spoonful to my first cup of coffee. No taste other than it makes the coffee kind of creamy, along with my almond or macadamia milk. An hour later my system works!

Really improves digestion, without all of the side effects of other types of Fiber! Mixes easily with everything and lacks any aftertaste. I add it to protein shakes, milk, water and even juices.

This product is perfect. I got all three but it’s about to expire.

Now Foods Organic inulin Powder is very good for fiber, taste, & price. Sometimes, not every time, when I stir it into my hot beverage, a clump may rise to the surface. I find it easy to push it against the side of the mug & it dissolves immediately so it really isn’t a problem. I also like that it has very low carbs at .2 net grams per serving. A helpful product for me since going keto. Highly recommend it.

I received only bottle even though the description said 3. I only paid $11, though, and I see the price is now $28. I imagine the description and price were not matched up correctly and now they are. Love this inulin. Easy to use in my hot tea or coffee.

Inulin is a useful form of fiber.It used to be readily available as "Fiber Sure" - then Metamucil bought it and it became almost non-existent, which baffles me because it is a much more versatile product than psyllium. Inulin mixes totally clear so is easy to add to juice or water. And. being a fine powder, to add to recipes, from meatloaf to muffins, It is very slightly sweet, but not enough to alter a recipe. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is the container. After you open the seal it becomes a pop-top. Sometimes the inulin spills and cleanup can be sticky. This type of powder really needs a screw-on top, which is what Fiber Sure had when it was available.November, 2014: Have just downgraded this item from 4 stars to 2, maybe even a 1. It now states on the label it is a "Product of China. Packaged in the USA" Am very disappointed in NOW. I know they try to keep their prices low, but I'd rather pay a dollar or two more and still have in be a product of the US, or Canada, or Belgium - which is where most inulin seems to be produced.As far as quality, it is no longer a crystalline substance which dissolves easily. About a year ago it became a powder which doesn't completely dissolve. Perhaps that coincided with the shift from the US to China. Very disappointing.
