This is quite heavy for it's size, and well made. Has served me well for two seasons so far. The liquid inside confuses people, but it must serve as a lubricant for the dial. It responds well to pressure changes Should be the last I ever need.

This is a pressure regulator first and foremost. You want to use pressure regulators for your RV because sometimes water pressure at RV parks and campgrounds can be unpredictable. I have stayed at parks where the pressure is way too high for the RV to handle and you will run the risk of rupturing a pipe or connection. And if this happens, your camping trip will be either ruined or its fun-factor will be greatly reduced because you'll have to spend a lot of your time being a plumber. Water leaks and RVs do not mix.Additionally, this product has an easy readable gauge so you will know what the pressure is that's feeding to your RV. The gauge is set in oil to reduce the erratic wiggle of the needle, giving you a more clearly understandable reading of the water pressure. The nut located next to the gauge is used to increase or decrease pressure to your RV. Easy to use. Protect your investment. This is a good product and worth the money. I'd rather spend a little more to have the ability to know what pressure my RV is set at, and the ability to increase or decrease pressure if needed. Most of the time, the pressure is pre-set to a good setting so you won't have to touch it. But, the functionality is there if you need it. Let's face it, too high pressure is crazy important to mitigate, but too low of pressure makes running your faucet or taking a shower frustrating.

Hello, Folks ! Leaving a review on this product . First off , Grade "A" Quality well made product . Brass body & excellent flutter free glycerin filled for accuracy and longevity. As a Refrigeration Guy I know guages ! Fittings are solid can not see internally but feels like a well made product right in your hand . Easy to use and install has multiple applications not just for a R.V. I used mine for a portable propane shower system I built from scratch minus the tankless water heater itself . Did this so I could have dependable water P.S.I. for shower to prevent damage . And a word mainly this is to control water P.S.I. to avoid costly repairs and down time . Surprised how will this works for the price… I’m using it to reduce the pressure off of our standpipe from the county, the pressure from the pipe has caused hoses to blowout and break. The reducer is preset to a pressure that’s good for watering and is very easy to install and it handles the excessive pressure from the county easily. We’ve had it installed for over a month now and it hasn’t given us any trouble.

The meter sure gives more confidence that the pressure is what I want. Easy to put in place. Threads are good.

Works great and arrived two early in good condition

I bought this product over others because it seemed like it would last longer. The pressure gauge stopped resetting to zero after a couple of months, but I could still see the gauge move from 30 to 60. Now it is stuck on max psi and no longer functions. Is it still regulating pressure? I don't know, I suppose I can check by hand what is coming out of the faucet, but what is the point of a variable pressure regulator when the gauge itself doesn't work?

Tried and tried it will not operate below 28psi on the output. I’ve limited out the adjustment. Above 28 psi I can set the output pressure anywhere but I need it down to 15-20 psi and it will not go down that low.
