These strip are great, they test for a number of things, all of which are useful to know. The reason I bought these was to test for hard water level primarily. I live in a very hard water area (south east of England), and I have a water softener in the house for around 8 years, I wanted to ensure the water softener is set correctly. I tested the unsoftened water and also softened water, to see the difference. There is a small difference, which I will continue to test for a few weeks to ensure accuracy after the water softener has regenerated.The test strips are easy to use and the results come in seconds. Easy to check against the chart on the side of the bottle.Overall, would recommend as they test for a number of aspect of water quality and is super easy to use.

Good pack of testing strips. These test a range of different things but I got them to test the pH levels in my tropical aquarium and they seem to give a decent reading. For the price you cannot grumble as you get lots of strips with easy diagram on the side of the bottle.I won't hesitate to order more of these when I'm running low.

Have used this type of testing strip before but not sure if this batch really works

Used this on a large paddling pool but the colour of the stripes did not match the guide on the side of the tub so not sure how accurate they are

These are fine if you follow the instructions and hold them flat once you’ve dipped. I like they they include bromine reading. Cheaper than other testing strips and they do the job.

Good product sealed batches of ten to make sure they are not as affect by damp over time. Nice and accurate reading

Bought these as cost effective alternative to the Bestway test strips for my Lay-Z-Spa. Within a few days of maintaining the chemical levels to the readings on these strips the Spa developed an unpleasant smell and the water had started bleaching the colour on the sides of the Spa. Both some more Clearwater strips to compare and the chlorine levels showing ‘OK’ on these cheaper strips were registering off the chart on the more expensive Bestware strips. Likewise the pH wasn’t even registering on the Bestway and was well below OK levels. Adjusting my levels back to normal with the Bestway strips has eliminated the unpleasant smells and given me much more confidence that the chlorine levels are correct.Avoid these cheaper alternatives. Not worth risking your health over inaccurate testing strips for saving a small amount of money!
