Kala Journeyman Acoustic-Electric U Bass with F-Holes Bundle with Tuner and Polishing Cloth

Awesome little Ubass. I really like everything about this Kala Journeyman Ubass. built in tuner works like it should and the onboard preamp can get that big upright bass sound or a nice warm acoustic bass with some onboard adjustments of the sliders. really love that the strings are metal round nylon instead of the rubber strings that most Ubass' come with.when plugged in the volume of each open string is the same, some Ubass' I played not so much.this is my experience so far with my Kala Journeyman Ubass and I'm happy.

Great sound for such a small, light instrument. I didn't adjust well to the stock round wire wound strings. Tried the Blacks and Reds but still not quite happy. Put on Kala flat wire wound strings (ordered from Kala) and Wow! Great sound with minimal string noise. Be advised that the stock round wire wound strings have smaller diameters than the orher strings, so a slight enlargement of the nut slots is required. I did mine in a few seconds with a tat tail file. Only the 'E' string nut slot required enlarging on my UBass. This may void your warranty per Kala.Good purchase!

I love this. Previouslyto Covid I played bass as my full time job. I purchased as a way to pass the time and found it fun. It's not my Fender American Jazz Bass but I would use this in an amplified acoustic setting. One thing weird, it comes with a headstock tuner, but also has a tuner built in that tunes very well.Not very loud unamplified, but that's to be expected.

Is amazing, this bass is the best instruments I bought.

This thing sounds AMAZING and plays AMAZINGLY. I can't believe you can get this quality of sound and playability for this price.

for the money, this is a great ubass. i have played a ubass for the past 2 yrs and this one works great.
