I purchased this product specifically for a house move. After reading numerous reviews, both good and bad, I decided to give it a try. Glad I did.It was very easy to begin using. Once you adjust the straps for the harness you wear the rest is easy. As long as you pay attention to the instructions and attach the long carry straps to your harness the correct way, there is no slippage. We had some very heavy furniture pieces and not one bit of slippage occurred. It was also very comfortable to walk with heavy items. There is always a sense of balance and control while moving items. The harness you wear is also padded and fully wrapped over your shoulders and around your back making it much more comfortable to wear.I would recommend this product. It is very useful and saves your back from heavy lifting.

These made moving heavy furniture so much easier. The straps are adjustable and made from great heavy duty material. The harness is also adjustable and comfortable. I'm not sure what the measurements of who they will fit are but they worked for both 115#s at 5'2" and 240#s at 5'11" without any problems.After reading other reviews I would like to clarify that the straps do not slip. If you are having a problem with the straps slipping, switch how you have the straps latched to the harness. There is a right way and a wrong way. You'll know you have it wrong if you go to pick something up and your strap just loosens.I bought this for the straps and not the gloves so I kept my review to 5 stars.To comment on the gloves that come with it, they're garbage. Super thin and you can feel each grip through the glove making holding stuff uncomfortable.

Liked fit I am 6'2" 250 and it fit fine and was comfortable. The issues we ran into was the straps that go between the "vests" were a little short so we had to squat down some then using knees and back more than we needed to. Works great for furniture and other appliances, the piano was just a little long for the straps.

So glad I purchased these! Must have for moving large/heavy items, furniture or appliances.Movers did not show up and used these to move. So worth the $$

I was hoping this was a perfect solution but it unfortunately failed for me. It’s great when you’re already standing however the problem is the lift.To lift you have to basically go into a full vended squat, you have to in that uncomfortable position try and position the strap underneath ( which is uncomfortable and isn’t fast enough) click the belt lock-in system in place. Then basically do a dead man’s lift to get it into standing position.I purchased this in hopes it could help my husband help with our move. He’s got a bum back but we don’t have people that can help. If it didn’t require so much of a deep bend and lift it would have been great.We did figure out a slight workaround. If I lift and place his side on a higher platform like a stool or other sturdy (but doesn’t slide) object I can have him help with some of the lighter furniture like large empty bookshelves. I found the arm style straps to be far more useful.

The straps were easy to assemble and use. Moved a 6 ft couch that was still in its packing. The straps made it easy for me and my daughter to move. We also used them to easily move a queen mattress. They were comfortable to wear even though I'm 330 pounds with a fat belly and I was still able to move things comfortably. Note it would be harder to use on a couch longer than 6ft in my opinion.

I have witnessed many delivery folks use similar products with ease, so I assume this would be an awesome option. However, getting this product to work correctly is extremely challenging. If you adjust your strap lengths and try to lift enough to get them to lock-in, it just doesn’t work. The straps just slip. It requires that both parties adjust and then pickup at the same time. Then there is just a little slip and the straps lock and you can carry the item. If you get to this point , the product works get. But the amount of time it takes to be that coordinated is just not for the one in a while mover. We ended up just using the hand truck. If the lock-in mechanism worked better and without requiring the full load, this product would probably be awesome. I suspect that whatever brand the professionals use do not have this problem.
