Very helpful
This was the first book I found to really help my 3 year old to speak properly. The evaluation helped us greatly in narrowing down the trouble spots with her speech, and the exercises are simple enough to do just about anywhere. I would recommend it to anyone that needs speech therapy.

It really helped
A friend of mine also had success with this book.We both liked the idea that it's short and to the point. But what's most important IT WORKS.I'm not sure now what was the recommendation of the author but I've never printed any pictures. It was part of the game for me and my child to look for them together.

Outdated information
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I am always looking for materials to help parents work with their children. I looked forward to receiving this book, but was very disappointed. I am also concerned that parents may be misled by inaccurate information. I do not know when this book was written as there was no copyright date, but much of the information appears to be from the 1950s or 1960s. I could not find any credentials for the author. The term "speech correctionist" has not been used in decades. A "speech teacher" teaches public speaking/drama. The professional is called Speech-Language Pathologist. The introduction to the book has many fallacies. There have been many laws about special education that have been passed over the last 40 years that have greatly improved the access to services for children. Parents can contact their local school system to find out about services for children from ages two years through 21 years. The state or locality also offers services for infants and toddlers. Although some of the exercises are OK, there are many more efficient and effective ways to work with children. Please contact the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for up-to-date information about speech-language disorders.

Not worth the price
This quick 67 page e-book is not very helpful in presenting any useful speech exercises. For most sounds, it merely describes how the sound is produced in the mouth and provides a list of words for the child to repeat.I spent over two hours printing pictures of the long list of words for the articulation test because no pictures are provided.
